The idea is this: Create a planewalker of a certain color combination and a mechanic that works with but IS NOT in the text of the planeswalker card. Make it such that planeswalker and cards with this particular mechanic can work alongside the planeswalker in a full deck built around the two. Try to also fit the mechanic thematically with the planeswalker (for example, don't have a mechanic involving graveyard recursion built around a character that hates or is somehow running from the undead). Give an example of a card or two with the mechanic on it.
Both to start the thread, and to serve as an example, I will post my own.
Rolan is a young boy who, abandoned in a swamp by his parents for the horrendous mutations in his body (he has scales on his face and poisonous stingers on his hands), grew up knowing only the fear of being constantly the smallest and most vulnerable creature there. To survive, he developed a symbiotic relationship with the only other creatures that were as small and vulnerable as he: insects and leeches. After discovering biomancy, he began to alter his creepy/crawly companions into a monstrous horde in an attempt to both secure his survival amongst the monsters of the swamp and to secure his revenge on the civilization that abandoned him. But that was not enough. After attempting to invade his home village, he was defeated by powerful mages that were able to remove his horde of mutated insects. He ascended out of the despair that crashed over him when he noticed that he had exhausted all of his mana and was unable to continue summoning. Believing they would capture and make an example of him, Rolan discovered that his awakened spark had given him a new ability: the ability to drain the mana from others. He used his manamancy to drain the poweful mages dry of mana, rendering them incapable of performing magic and restarting his assault.

+1: Tap target land. That land doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step. Add one mana of any color that land could produce to your mana pool.
-2: Put a 1/1 black and green insect creature token with deathtouch onto the battlefield.
-3: Sacrifice a creature: Choose 1--Draw X cards, or; add {X} mana to your mana pool, where X is the sacrificed creature's power.
-4: Put a 0/0 Blue and Green leech creature token with hexproof and deathtouch onto the battlefield. It has "this creature gets +1/+1 for each land your opponents' control".
Starting Loyalty: 2
Mechanic: Leech (this creature enters the battlefield bonded to target land an opponent controls. Whenever that land is tapped for mana, put a +1/+1 counter on this creature).
Many of the leech creatures I've come up with have additional additional abilities that trigger based on the number of +1/+1 counters they have on them. For example:
Amoeba {G/U}
Leech
Whenever a +1/+1 counter is placed on Amoeba, if it has 5 or more +1/+1 counters on it, draw a card.

What do you guys think? What awesome ideas do you guys have?

Other than that, I'm not entirely convinced this is a game as such, but I'll let it stick around and see if it gathers any interest.
(Probably NSFW) So you may have heard I'm trying to write a TV series...
