Lest you think nothing is happening here, fear not! I have been in communication with the finalists via PM. Right now submissions are being accepted on Monday, so that's our current timetable. I'll be posting the decklists I get publicly.

Can we have Megiddo removed from the forum forever please?
i'm pretty sure i can find your ***** online within 3 minutes
Not at this time. Nobody has been keeping proper track of results up to this point, to the best of my knowledge.
I'd like to see what interest there is for another one at some point - I'll probably check in December, and if there's sufficient interest we'll run it for all of the monthly winners over 2014 in January/February.
Well the two before the latest one were both design-a-set exercises; I felt that worked out pretty well as a larger job and from my perspective as a player at least felt like it was not too heavy on the host. There was probably a feeling of fatigue on that but it'll be like a 1.5 year gap between the last design a set PT and the next.
Alternatively we could look at something like designing cards that could fit into existing sets? So e.g. have a round based on designing cards that are being time-machine inserted into Kamigawa, or Mirage, or w/e. Shows understanding of context well.
I guess you need a structure that is big enough to work when you have a large number of qualified participants. Certainly advancing via votes or similar is a necessity.

I run a Tumblr for Magic-related statistics, graphs, and quizzes. Come check it out!
We could also revive a previous contest to use for the PT. Perhaps either the Mechanics Creators' Contest or Battle Pike. With the latter, there'd be a couple of months to put together the list of available choices for design restrictions, and secret ballot votes via PM would be a lot easier to tally as each Round progressed.

May your games be chaotic and your decks be Rogue.
It's looking unlikely at this point; one of the roadblocks right now is that re-implementing the trophy system from the old site is - to put it bluntly - so low in priority compared to other fixes the site still needs that it's on like page 200 in tiny print. (That's not entirely serious. I think the list of stuff that still needs fixed is only a couple of pages long, but trophies are pretty much the last entry on it. By comparison, being able to see who voted on a poll - which is fairly useful rather than mostly cosmetic - still hasn't been fixed yet, and I've mentioned it as a bug something like half a dozen times.)
If the situation changes, I'll let everyone know and we can see if there's interest in reviving this, restarting trophies for the lower-tier monthly contests, or what.
Does that mean everyone who's won a qualifying contest since the discontinuation of the Pro Tour is eligible? I hope so because I was bummed when I won a CCL around the same time it was announced that the Pro Tour was indefinitely postponed.
Assuming we resume doing it, yes. This one may end up having more than 24 people as a result.
Clan Flamingo belongs to the ages, now, so the original purpose and foundation of this particular contest has passed. But there's been talk of incentivizing people to judge and organize the major monthly contests (the MCC specifically, but I think the idea is generally applicable). I think I may have time, at the end of the year, to run some version of the CCC&G Pro Tour by myself, allowing both contest winners (and consistent high-place finishers) and consistent organizers to qualify. I already have a head full of challenges, each of which is more deviously difficult than any I've ever posted before.
The Pro Tour was before my time, but from the little I know about it, it sounds like fun.

Sounds potentially fun. Just need clear criteria on what merits "pro" status. Too harsh and they won't be many players. Too lenient and what's distinguishing versus any other contest?
There is something in the works, to be brought out as the year comes to a close, but I will say I am far from doing a Commander-themed contest. It just wouldn't interest everyone.

(Probably NSFW) So you may have heard I'm trying to write a TV series...
