Ok, I think the way my card interacts isn't clear right now. If you have 3 Inkblood Mires out (my card for this round), this is how it goes.
A mana ability doesn't go on the stack. They resolve immediately. So when you activate the first mire, you can only get B for 1 life. The second mire will also give B for 1 life. Only the third mire will give BBB.
I thought I'd take a moment to defend Cypher28's critique of my Round 2 card,
The Card:
Nature's Paradise
Legendary Land {R}
Nature's Paradise cannot be played on your first or second turn.
:symtap:: Add GGG to your mana pool. This mana can only be used to cast green creatures and/or pay for the activated abilites of green creatures.
"The journey across the vast wooded territory that defines Jatori can be taxing on even the most experienced traveler, but this is balanced by the abundant resources that are available if one knows how to use them."
The Critique:
This card makes mono green ramp the most viable thing ever. In the broken sense of being viable. All I can see with this card is T1: Llanowar Elves, T2: Somberwald Sage, T3: Nature's Paradise and less than or equal to 9 drop. Gigantomancer for example. You've even got the 1 mana open to buff anything they try to kill. Next turn you have 3 7/7 beaters from tapping one land. The flavor of the card is better. I like the fact that despite the fact that it's a paradise, it can still be dangerous if you don't know the lay of the land. As that's true for just about any wilderness.
First of all, you can come up with any ideal first three turns for any power card or legendary-rare or even lesser cards that can abuse it. Second of all, this card is worse than Gaea's Cradle also a legendary land, which proves the printability of it. It is not broken because its use is narrowed to green creature and their abilities, can only have one in play ever on your third turn. I'm glad you noticed the flavor of this card, because I thought the card was playable AND had my story, flavor, and theme covered to a T. The idea is that Jatori's forests are full of resources which most forests are, but only those who know how to use them (green creatures -- or this case my Jatori elves). This idea fit the card and the theme perfectly. I just wanted to present my defense and clarity for my card and I am in no way whining. In the end, everyone has the right to critique any card in whichever way they see fit.

You're mostly right that designing a ideal first three turns isn't the best way to show a card is broken; though in this case he used only cards from standard so very realistically could be a common tournament opening. But a far far worse argument is trying to support something being printable by comparing it to a card from the most [card="Tolarian Academy"]broken setever.
Granted Urza's Saga is nasty, I would agree if I was comparing to say Tolarian Academy which is not only legendary but restricted/banned in all formats. Gaea's Cradle isn't even restricted in Vintage. Another card you could compare mine to is Mishra's Workshop, yeah a sic-nasty card but is it even restricted? I guess I should tailor my cards more to if they were going to be printed in Standard environment, which actually makes sense. My point was just you cannot in my opinion say a card is broken by definition if you can compare it to a printed card, and say it's worse than said card. There also was no rule about how rare a card could be, and yes in comparison to alot of the other cards it is more powerful, but rare as started and legendary. I see where you are coming from and I'm glad my point is seen too. I just don't ever want my cards to come off as mindless creations of ban-city.
I'd love to get a better consensus of what my card is, broken or underpowered. I'm getting reviews going both ways and a couple down the middle.
(Underpowered)MDenham: Ah, someone who subscribes to the policy that Archangel's Light makes sense as a mythic. Seriously, this is just a rare, and not a very good rare at that. It's like Vesuva's twin sister - except instead of being able to be Cloudposts 5-8 in a deck, it just copies basic lands as needed.
(Balanced)Ixias: A very interesting card. It makes a pretty great manafixer but since you decide in your upkeep it's not very flexible like most other duals. I mean, it can potentially give any color of mana which is awesome but you decide in the upkeep and then it stays that way until your next upkeep. Very interesting, and I like it. The flavor isn't very great though, and it doesn't seem connected to your creature at all. I would expect a mountain to hide in...well, a mountain. I'm not sure what "imagery" this one conjures up for me but I'm thinking something like Terramorphic Expanse, which doesn't really fit with your creature in my eyes. All in all, strong card but weak connection to your other cards.
EDIT: Upon closer consideration, it would make more sense for a mountain to hide in a land of constant flux. It would be stupid to hide among non-moving mountains. This revelation bumps the card up in my eyes, it makes it feel much more thought out and well-done overall.
(Broken)Void_Nothing: This is like an any-color land that enters the battlefield tapped. Only it's way better since it can actually produce the turn it drops. Absurd.
Card:
The Expanse of Flux Legendary Land {M}
: Add to your mana pool.
At the beginning of your upkeep you may choose a basic land type other than The Expanse of Flux's current land type. The Expanse of Flux is now that basic land type until the end of your next upkeep. "Watch your step... and then double check." - Corym Var, Flux Guide
I'd just like a better idea of what went wrong here. I thought I'd balanced it out fairly nicely. Perhaps removing the legendary and the tap for colorless?

Yes, I'd sayit's very close to being broken; normally you'll know exactly what color you'll need in the current turn before you draw, it effectively makes any color of land. The only downsides are that it can't make colored mana the first turn you play it, you may very occasionally wish you'd chosen differently once you see your draw, and it's legendaryiness. Overall it's too good, imo, though fixing has been gradually getting better and better lately so I wouldn't be too surprised to see something like this in RtR.
Corpulent Greatsword4
Artifact - Equipment (R) 5: Attach Corpulent Greatsword to target creature you control. Corpulent Greatsword deals 3 damage to that creature. Then, put 5 +1/+1 counters on that creature. Activate this ability only as a sorcery. "The sword itself is worthless. Too heavy to swing effectively. But, if you can lift it, you gain something that no other sword in the world can match."
-Hyman, Revoza Elder
I just want to point out that this will always be 5: Put 5 +1/+1 counters on target creature, because you can always activate it and because the damage won't kill it in between the ability.

I'm bummed I had to drop this month, as I loved the storyline progression. I also thought it was interesting that people who critiqued my card through it was overpowered (2 mana on one land!) or underpowered (tap every creature? SUCKY!). Reminded me of the Vexing Devil conversations.
I'm guessing I tried to rely a little too much on flavor in this round... now that critiques are closed, I want to say I'm a little let down that no judge mentioned the flavor of Thunderous Battle Cry against an enemy with hypersensitive hearing (Guaroga Headhunter). Also, the Lionheart Champion's flavor was supposed to come from him fighting the opposing champion while surrounded by the rest of his tribe.
We have some awesome submissions this round... I am eager to see the entries from those who advance!

Gotcha. Hopefully it goes up soon. I might be interested in doing one in August then. I've got a couple themes I'd like to try out.

Prophylaxis had expressed interest in running "a summer month"; I told him to talk with MirrorEntity about the possibility of taking July and pushing ME's out to September.
I swear (it goes something like :mad1::swear::mad1:) that sometimes it seems like I'm running this almost as much as GM is.
By "represents yourself," is the challenge indicating that the planeswalker should be representative of me, or merely that it will be my avatar during the CCL?

Can I modify my Round Zero entry? Because I just got an idea for a theme, and I'm not particularly sure the flashback in my entry could fit with my idea.
avatarz was added to team Vodka to even out the teams, but otherwise no changes have intentionally been made. I'll try to hunt down what's caused the mixup.

1) If you haven't yet, vote on the April finals! We've got a bit over two days left on that.
2) Also, if you haven't finished them yet, go do your critiques for May Round 2 already. Slackers.
