As I mentioned in my response PM, I'm up for April... and I think I've got an idea for it already, but I'll need to work on it over the next few weeks.
Thanks for running, MDenham, interesting world you came up with. I don't know why turnout on the finals is so low lately Used to get over 20 total votes easily, and I think we barely got 10 this time.
Yeah I suppose. It's like that one Olympics that didn't happen (I refuse to look for that information with Wikipedia down).
Those games sucked, and I wasn't even in them.
In other news, if I were to attempt another part of the cycle started by CrustaceanCrusader, would that DFC setup meet the round's requirements for an enchantment creature?
(Psst...CrustaceanCrusader, if you're reading this, are you okay with that idea?)
Sorry for the newb question (first time playing this), what do the numbers next to the names represent? And if they are points, I'm confused why I have 34 lol. I read the grading scale and got confused half way through.

They are indeed points. Basically you get one point for submitting a top 3 and one point for critiquing, then for each critique of your team you get 3/2/1 points for coming 1st/2nd/3rd. But because there's always people (in this case a lot of people) that forget to critique, we take your score as a fraction of the maximum amount of points you could have gotten in your team (eg. 14/34, 7/28) and multiply that by a hundred (so you always end up with a score out of 100 in each round).

Ah, much more sense my score doth make. Thanks for the explanation.
This round looks so cool, I wish that lava ball hadn't taken out my team. Great premise this month.
Yeah, I wanted to do this round last round, but that would leave me stumped as to what I'd this this round. Also, I'm not sure how solvable this is on three mana.

I agree that would have been tough. I'm looking forward to see what folks do with four.
I am deeply saddened by the removal of the flavor component for round 2. Round one was oozing with flavor, without the flavor requirement it feels almost like a body double of the MCC, but I digress.
The CCL has always stood apart because each round led to the next. (It doesn't stand out as much this month, as the MCC seems to be moving in that same direction.)
How much flavor matters to the cards is always up to 1) the organizer, in how he designs the card creation restrictions 2) the players, in what weight they choose to put the creative portion in their judgings.

I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.

Congratulations, Prophylaxis, for the landslide (if low-turnout) win for December, and good luck to everyone for April (and the intervening months)!

Do you mean to say they will be posted on the 26th of February?
Possibly with unreliable Italian backup in the form of avatarz, so make that "pair of maniacs".
