Phyrexian Editor can go ahead and start if Rocket Powered Turbo Slug isn't around, we just need to get it going. Again, sorry, but I started a new job in September and I haven't been able to keep up as well with stuff here.

Interesting card, but not sure I would like them taking cards like that as it could give them a huge advantage, especially for or 2 life to pump it to greater than 3.
Yarg! I forgot to edit this before the deadline.
I had the same thoughts myself. Originally, it was a riff on Barbed Shocker, with haste and trample (hence being 3/1). I was afraid that with the firebreathing ability, it would look cramped on the card frame. I was going to change it to 1 and a 1/1 like the original Shocker (only Phyrexian). Oh, well. That'll teach me.
I apologize for lateness, so here is the simplified version of the critiques and Top 3
Peace on Plenty
NotoriousLynx: First, that is a pun only in the weakest sense. Next, the first ability does not work without flash. Even if you cut that... the Forecast is nuts! Seriously, this seems like an even more overpowered version of Sanpcaster Mage, and not much else besides.
PsiJet: Simple anagram, though I like that it came from a slightly more obscure source. Human Horror is interesting. The forst ability probably requires a bit of rules text to define itself, but is still new. The problem comes from the absolute nuts that this guy does once he is online turn five. Lockout for the rest of the game, and you get to see the hand first. That said, I think with a bit of reworking this card could be made into a gem.
Pocketwatch: Hmmmm...this is interesting. I love the anagram, but this would be so awkward on a card. I am not in love with the fact that he is so difficult to get out, and that he requires huge mana sinking to do relevant things. I would say underpowered, but that is nice for a change.
Brofaux: Anagram is okay, but there are too many drawbacks here. He will be hurting you more, and the scry 2 is just not enough. I don't really understand what the shrink is in flavor context. Meh, kill the shrink and this could be okay.
LockdownPrime: This just does not seem like a hiden work, really. Also, it suffers the same problem that rampage did: No one will bother to block until they have something big enough to kill it with. The trample really just accentuates this issue. Still, it is a fairly balanced card, so props for that.
And that's just a small list. Note also though that while some of them are "sac, put a [land] or [land] onto the battlefield" kind of thing, they are STILL lands that do NOT produce mana.

Really!?! Aside from the obviously mana-related cards (Urborg, fetch-lands, etc.), your defense consists of 1994 all-stars like the "bands with other" lands (one of the worst mechanics ever printed) and Sorrow's Path (possibly the worst card ever printed)? Because 1994 was such a good year for MTG design? Really!?!

Does it matter in the fact of WHEN it was printed? The fact that it WAS printed makes it valid and with the way things are progressing now and days, aside from the banding, the fact that mana is produced not only by lands, but by creatures as well, I don't see why a land HAS to produce mana.

The "when" only matters because design has made some major changes in the past 15 years, this land issue being one of those. Richard Garfield designed the game with a very ingenious way of managing power level while ensuring a good pace- mana. To support this, lands have fallen into the default role of mana producing, as they have timing issues (one per turn) that maintain the power level/pacing dynamic. No one is saying lands that don't produce mana shouldn't exist, per se (obviously, they still get printed, such as Eye of Ugin). Design has, however, made a conscious effort to more clearly define what each color and card type do. This is why we don't see colored artifacts more often (they step on enchantments' toes). As part of this defining, lands (by default) serve the role of mana production. That is what the majority of players have come to expect of lands. (Creatures producing mana, by the way, isn't a new thing.)
Also, the fact that something WAS printed doesn't mean it works in modern design. Do we get common fliers in green because of Scryb Sprites? Or direct damage in blue because of Prodigal Sorcerer or Psionic Blast? Again, for a variety of reasons (encouraging certain play archetypes, Limited formats, etc.), Wizards has made some hard calls about what colors and types of cards are capable of doing. Artifacts (the normal colorless kind) walk a fine line as any color can use them, so they must be wary about doing traditionally colored effects, for example.
Sorry- this got a lot more long-winded than I had anticipated. I do, however, appreciate the opportunity to get involved in some very in-depth conversation about design philosophy.
The fact that Psionic Blast was printed in blue doesn't make it okay to print it again. Times change and lands now like being mana. Eye of Ugin is the only modern example you gave, and technically can be seen as 'producing mana' (2 for Eldrazi use only). Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth grants itself a mana ability, so that doesn't count. Vesuva is going to copy a land, which has a very high chance of giving it a mana ability. And fetches are literally just lands with either of the types it fetches, so please don't argue that route...

Well, the surprising amount of uniformity on blue-centered cards (all wedge, no arc) made creating teams a little more difficult than I'd have liked, but they're together. Kind of a shame we only have 20 people, though.
For the current challenge: Monocolor required? And no off-color abilities?
Monocolored or colorless, yes.
Off-color abilities are okay but, um, strongly recommended against for colorless (only because that makes it look like it's "colorless and identifying with a different team").
Well considering we had to do two lands for a total of 3 colors, I think that having colors that are present in the non-mono land would probably be fine, at least IMHO.

i apologize to the community for failing to run the CCL AGAIN... :-(
Are we gonna get rolling then? We're already 4 days behind schedule, and that's AFTER you account for starting 2 days late >_>

No, we're right on schedule. Now less complaining and more critiquing before I demote you to Phyrexian Copyboy.
