Don't they write that 2+* or did they stop doing that?
Yes, they do and I knew that. It's just that I tried to put it into MSE and 2+*/2+* didn't fit in the P/T box, so I used */* with the reasoning that * stands for a number that's defined in the rules text in whatever way. I agree that's one more strike against my card, but I couldn't think of anything better before the deadline.
On a philosophical note, I feel like your cards sometimes tend to strive too hard to be realistic and safe. I can see boring draft cards by opening up a pack - for the CCL, I want to see something new and fun. I think your technical design skills are fine for designing full sets, but at least in my case I'm more likely to favor cards that showed me a cool new idea but had some problems over cards that are perfectly printable as is but are very close to things we have seen already. I would also err in the "oops Tarmogoyf" direction for power adjustment rather than aim for like 11th pick draft cards. Again, all just my take.
No problem. That's exactly both what I usually aim for and the area of design I'm strongest in. To me, this is actually a compliment, so thank you. I agree that's not the best for the CCL, and it might be a big part of the reason why I usually have a very hard time winning the CCL. I usually come pretty close to the final round, but when I get to it, I almost always lose. I don't remember if I've ever actually won a CCL, I think I did once, but I lost way more final rounds than the one I might have won. I consider the CCL, especially the final round with the public poll, a popularity contest essentially, and I'm not very good at those. I also think that's the reason I feel much better (and have better results when I'm playing) in the MCC, and a big part of what makes me a good (hopefully?) MCC judge. Also, in general, I like to see realistic custom cards in others' designs too. While I have a lot of fun playing Tarmogoyf in Modern, I don't want to see one overpowered card after another in custom card design. But that's just me, my taste, and my character. I like to play it safe, it just comes naturally to me. I should probably risk a bit more. That's just who I am, in real life too.

@Cardz5000: Thanks for the explanation! To be honest, when I was writing the critique, I was already thinking that I might be missing something. I really need to brush up my general knowledge of all the different timing stuff within the combat phase.

soramaro: I feel the time cost of the ability is far too much for formats other than limited specially when compared with something like Jungle Barrier, so I think there's room for a juicier body or card selection at legendary rare [...] The token producing ability of Bed of Dreams seems too unspecific for an aura, This makes me think that the fact that your aura can't enchant your previous version was something that slipped from you when actually producing the text.

I'm torn on Rhulor, on one hand the dream cards are a really cool, but with them being chosen at random this is effectively, just draw a card each turn if you've controlled Rhulor for three turns or more. I think them being face-up, or at least allowing you to look at the face-down cards could have helped this (an activated ability to be able to pay and take another dreamed card would have also been cool.)
I'm missing the flavor on bed of dreams, but mechanically it's fine I guess.
For power level, my main reference was Rashmi, Eternities Crafter and I agree that Rhulor feels a bit weak compared to her. Balancing was difficult - I wanted the effect to be straightforward/as non-wordy as possible and rather slow and "passive" (since he's sleeping can't influence what he dreams about), but I'm not really satisfied with the result. I especially don't like how the effect just becomes "draw an extra card" after three turns. Adding an activated ability that enables his controller to draw more cards from his dream-pile is an excellent idea since it can be resolved with just one extra line of text.
Bed of Dreams, form a flavor perspective, represents Rhulors "garden" that grows around him and creates some kind of protective sphere. Whenever Rhulor's dreams are especially vivid, seeds/cones ( his alternate form uses these to create copies of himself for "knowledge acquisition/storage") fall from his branches and sprout into new flowers, replacing the ones that die off.
It acually was "enchant creature or planeswalker" at first. I removed the PW card because I usually prefer to stay on the safe side when it comes to power level, but since the card has one of the weaker card types, it probably would've been fine and made the second ability a little less "random" (a lot of PWs draw cards in some way).
Owing to poor critiques turnouts in recent months, I'm considering removing the mandatory top 3 rule going forward and changing the scoring system back to 1 bonus point each for submitting critiques and top 3s in each round, allowing everyone who submitted for a round to earn points in that round regardless of whether they submit a top 3.
Three open rounds would be more in line with the team CCL concept, which was... tiresome to score, quite frankly.
That's a whole other discussion, but one I'm happy to have. I'm in no way in favor of going back to teams, but three open/top 4, or even a six-round month with three open and three elimination rounds, could be workable
The organizer has to come up with a theme for the month, lay out the schedule, post five round threads plus a final poll, and come up with critique brackets and tally scores after crits and top 3s.
I'd really recommend learning the ropes first. In fact I'd discourage you from hosting without playing a month first. If no one else steps up I'm always happy to host a month, and I'm glad for your enthusiasm, but understanding how the CCL is supposed to run is key and I can't really give you all of that just by telling you the rules and sending you a score spreadsheet.
InfinityDie, make sure to number your top 3, 1st place gets more points than 3rd.
For future reference, I (and I recommend other hosts do this) will assign your points in descending order (i.e. the first name you list will be your #1) if you do not number your T3.
