I'd run Amonkhet-themed MCC, but maybe May 2017 will be better option for this.
If I'm getting the okay, Amonkhet will have to wait til June. At least that'll give people some time to come up with ideas and get a feeling for the set.

I can volunteer to do April, would be my first time tho.
I read your PM. Sounds like a good idea. You can run April.

I can't do April, as I'm going to be super busy all month. But I'd love to do May. I have some crazy ideas for that. So it'd be best to discuss that with at least one person.
I'm going to send you a PM about my ideas later today for approval Moss_Elemental, as soon as I have them all sorted out.
I have some small issues, but I like the idea.
@Necarg: If you can, you can have June.

Just waiting on admirableadmiral to judge so we can get the MCC March Finals underway. Two out of the four finalists have hence already been decided unless any judge changes their mind.

Yes, IcariiFA is right and I missed that. As feedback, I'm finding the requirement for specific card types in this month's challenges very counterintuitive. I did read the challenges multiple times but still in my mind this was just the "summer" round. Raptorchan's card has summer flavor, so it's fine, that was what my mind intuitively believed. In past rounds I've also had to check the types multiple times because that requirement kept escaping me. Anyway, luckily keeping void_nothing's scores into account the outcome doesn't change, so no, I'm sure I won't change my mind and Indighost gets to advance in that matchup. I've edited my judgment post to reflect this.

I agree with that. The format and wording can be a pain in the ass sometimes. Having to go through pages and pages on magiccards.info for some kind of likeliness.
I love how so much card design, in order to ensure "so called correctness", needs to rely on shameless copy-pasting.

While it doesn't ultimately affect who advances, scoring 0/2 on the main challenge is a "may" trigger for disqualification and not a "must" trigger, and this seems like an instance where it would make sense for Raptor's entry to have fallen on the not-DQ side of that line, wouldn't it?

Looks like this time first judge gave 0/2 points while second judge gave 1/2 because their interpretations of passing the main challenge were slightly different.
As one of the ones who petitioned for the whole main challenge section being added to the rubric and helped write it's current wording, I can tell you that the intent behind the clause is to disqualify cards that explicitly break the main challenge. The flexibility that the rubric gives on giving partial scores on a main challenge is for challenges that are subjective. If a card gets 0/2 points, 99% of the time that should be a disqualification. The "may" is there as a safety net for some niche scenario we may not be able to predict with subjective criteria.
Round three has both subjective criteria (summer flavor) and an objective criteria (instant or artifact.) If you fail objective criteria, you can't pass. It's like a spell that asks to say... sacrifice a red creature. Can I sacrifice a green creature instead? It's a creature so it partially fits, right? No, you can't. That's how logic works.
The alternative is to allow any main challenge in the the MCC to be partially ignored if it has multiple parts to satisfy... but the point of the main challenge is you are not supposed to be allowed to ignore it at all, it's required.
That's reasonable, thanks for the explanation! I just felt bad seeing someone get DQed for what seemed like an oversight, but I can definitely see your point too!
I really hope this does not count as a double post. April Round 1 has begun! My scores for March round 4 will be a little late, I really hope I can finish them tomorrow(Family visiting from oversees) Really sorry for the inconvenience.
I am done with March's judgments. We still need two more Judges!! There will be cake!! (We have 2 backup judges, but I think they really want to play this month )
