Karkins are half-human, half-crab. Karkins evolved from crabs when Simic scientists fused the two races together in an experiment gone wrong. The Karkins lacked human reasoning and wreaked havoc on the Simic laboratories, forcing their removal from the city of guilds. Xybrogs are a humanoid race that have integrated metal and flesh together; They can be called Cyborgs, but are much more advanced than simple machinergy placed on top of flesh.
On the contrary, metal is their flesh - All their bodily structures are composed of Myterium (An element unique to Magic, similar to Etherium, but heavier and more conductive of magical elements). For their bodies, Myterium is what carbon is to ours.
Mechanically, Xybrogs appear in all colors - If they were featured in a magic set, they would appear across the board where they were the dominant race in the set. They inhabit their home plane of Gaia, which is extremely similar to our home planet, Earth.

Sanguar - Blood Beasts
Fat, snakelike, legless bodies with long, thin forearms, Sanguars are creatures that feed and live off of the blood of others. They are highly inefficient at using the energy stored in blood, however, and ooze it from their bodies as they quickly slither across the ground in search of prey. Their bodies grow and shrink as the amount of blood inside of them changes, as their skin is incredibly flexible and has no limit to how far it will expand or diminish. Their head and upper/middle body is essentially one large "potato"-like figure, while their weak tail trails off behind it, soaked with the blood its body has already consumed and excretes. Despite their somewhat awkward frame, they are highly agile and are capable of incredible bursts of speed when their blood reserves are low. It has only two long, sharp canine teeth, invisible to the naked eye due to their incredible thinness except when it feeds, where they appear as red lines connecting the Sanguar to the victim as the blood travels inside of the tooth to the Sanguar. Their long, strong arms can grab prey closer to within range of its teeth, and its claws can rip most flesh to shreds. It has small, red eyes and often has spikes or fins on its back and/or other parts of its body, which they often use to scare off other predators.
Their homeland is the plane of Vicarn, a battle-crazed, monster-infested plane where predators and prey constantly swap places and the need to survive is the top priority for every living being. There are lots of tokens and/or small creatures that can become big creatures under the right conditions, and there are a good number of cards/mechanics that encourage creature combat, and "chumping" with your small creatures if often beneficial to you in some way and is encouraged, even early on. Think New Phyrexia's colour pie with Jund's "eat or be eaten" mentality and Grixis' general world, though with less zombies and skeletons and more disgusting, but actually "alive", creatures.
All Sanguars appear in red and/or black, are 0/0, and have the text "At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a +1/+1 counter from ~" as well as "~ enters the battlefield with N +1/+1 counters on it".

Sheenie: The sheenies are strange creatures born from thoughts that "escape" from sentient creature's minds. They can sprout from dreams, old memories, repressed desires and conceptual ideas. They are formed when land very rich on mana clashes with these thoughts. People that lose a lot of their thoughts in this way remain severly damaged, some incapable of speaking or remember important things from their past. Due of being made of pure mana, they are used by some skilled mages to fuel spells, and the most evil mages even kidnap people to extract their thoughts and create sheenies.
