I'll bet you wish you had a non-unglued/unhinged card that shared your first name.
Mercadian InvestmentU
Enchantment (R)
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a investment counter on Mercadian Investment.
At the end of your turn, if there are two or more investment counters on Mercadian Investment, remove all investment counters from Mercadian Investment and put a profit counter on Mercadian Investment.
Spells you cast cost 1 less to cast for each profit counter on Mercadian Investment.
Hargen Fen2UR
Planeswalker - Hargen M [+1] Draw a card. You get an emblem with "Your maximum hand size is reduced by one." [-2] You get an emblem with "At the beginning of each upkeep, you may tap or untap target permanent." [0] You may lose any number of emblems you have. Hargen Fen deals X damage to target creature or player, where X is three times the number of emblems lost. [[3]]
Magma Trudge3R
Enchantment (R) 1R, Exile the top ten cards of your library: Magma Trudge deals 2 damage to target creature or player. 3R, Sacrifice Magma Trudge: Until end of turn, you may play up to one card exiled by Magma Trudge.
The All-Nexus205
Legendary Artifact (M)
Affinity for everything (This spell costs 1 less to cast for each permanent, spell, triggered ability, activated ability or emblem you control.)
Spells you cast have affinity for everything. After the purification of Mirrodin, Koth found that the unity of the Machine Orthodoxy had resulted in the blinkmoths converging into a single mind.
This is intended to cost 25, but the mana symbols only go up to 20.
Thanking Post3
Artifact R 1, T: Target opponent may put a Thank You counter on Thanking Post. If he or she doesn't, Thanking Post does 2 damage to him or her. T: Remove three Thank You counters from Thanking Post: Draw two cards.

No see you're putting the carriage before the horse. Red isn't protecting its creatures. Red creatures are turning themselves into flame, which entails damage in the way these cards do. A natural consequence of this is the protection it entails.
I think my mistake was not making t a cost. This would have prevented you from relying on the creature for combat, and I think would have justified giving it haste.
The All-Nexus
Affinity for everything (This spell costs 1 less to cast for each permanent, spell, triggered ability, activated ability or emblem you control.)
First of all, that implies that Progenitus has only protection from permanents, spells, triggered abilities, activated abilities and emblems, which is just not the case. It also has protection from players, Goblins, cards in libraries, people named Steve in un-games.
So should it not have affinity for players? Cards in libraries? Affinity for your life total? Cards in hand? I just do not feel that this truly has affinity for everything.
Quote from Comprehensive Rules »
702.40. Affinity
702.40a Affinity is a static ability that functions while the spell is on the stack. “Affinity for [text]” means “This spell costs you {1} less to cast for each [text] you control.”
I went with the best approximations for things you are likely to control.
-You could control other players, but this is a corner case.
-You don't control cards in any player's library.
-You don't control your life total.
-You don't control the cards in your hand.
It's affinity for everything that you're likely to be able to say you "control".
EDIT: Would you expect the phrase "bands with everything" to allow you to attack with your opponents' creatures or with your lands (ignore that this would just be represented as banding)? Or "splice onto everything" to let you splice onto cards in your library? Or "everythingcycling" to let you search through your graveyard for a card? These examples are loose, but "everything" means different things depending on the individual ability.
Palace AristocratBGU
Creature - Naga Advisor (R)
At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a nonland card. Put all cards revealed this way into your graveyard.

I like the symetry of removing the counter only from opponents and removing counters from any creature, really makes this card shine. I am afraid, though, that it is too potent of an engine.

Considering the recent printing of Male Pattern Baldness in Innistrad II, this is almost useless against the Curse deck. Otherwise, using a single resource not only in a given match, but in your whole Magic career encourages the ever-constant shift from older to younger players. Mercadian InvestmentU

At the beginning of your upkeep, put a investment counter on Mercadian Investment.
At the end of your turn, if there are two or more investment counters on Mercadian Investment, remove all investment counters from Bank Account and put a profit counter on Mercadian Investment.

Just inquiring if this part was sarcasm... seeing as it's not symmetrical... otherwise, yeah, probably could use higher mana costs.
@Ink-Treader
Everything here is ether sarcasm or bad jokes, pay no mind. Card is not symmetrical, engine is really bad(infect decks are usually fast, so this doesn't help them, and if there are three or more counters on creatures on the field, you have a developed board and don't need more cards) - it's overcosted. Also, this breaks the rule of "no poison removal" - a huge flavour thing with Phyrexians is inevitability. Otherwise, I like the design, but it certainly needs work.
@Atogaholic
Yeah, the whole thing was pretty mean. Sorry. Here's the actual review:
Arc-Slogger callback fits really nicely with new red-draw. I wish you pushed the card a bit further, as the investment is perhaps too huge. I would especially like if the last ability scaled depending on X or something of that kind, as measly one card is not enough compensation for destroying your deck and wasting 1+ turn. Otherwise, the design is enjoyable and novel.
