"Here only miracles. Here, only the rising of spirit. And yes, love if it was pertinent (which it was so often); and sometimes bloodletting. But never the prosaic, never the trivial. YOU ARE SURPRISED BY A MANTICORE! IT QUICKLY SHREDS YOUR FLESH AND DEVOURS YOU!
Espres, Keeper of the Cup :2mana::symr::symw: Planeswalker- Espres {MR}
[+1]- Espres deals 1 damage to target creature or player. [-1]- Untap two target creatures you control. [-7]- You get an emblem with "If you dealt more than 10 damage to an opponent this turn, you may take an extra turn after this one. If you do, skip your untap step." <3>
+1- burning your mouth with coffee
-1- becoming more productive because of coffee
-7- becoming so productive that you just keep going, unfortunately, the caffeine crash eventually will come.
Sorry about taking this much time... My boss came in and took me to an ETERNAL meeting... I will resume just now.
Edit: Finished!
TransmutationOrchestra: Nice balance, good effect. It can be very rewarding. Only issue is that flavor is somewhat missing.
Megiddo: This is to expensive and has a drawback. A sorcery would have fit much better.
Diefi00: That's a lot of text! I dislike unelegant cards. Specially when you want to bloat it with extra flavor text.
Brofaux: I love this card, but I can't see why is blue.
Socrates: Very innovative charging effect! The haste effect should be rare for green.
Eskimo_Rage: Disgusting flavor! Also, weird costing and abilities make an unelegant card.
MagicBrains: Nice, balanced and neat effect! But I can see it more in green than in black.
FoxxyEDarko: Very, very flavorful... but weak. Also, white effect?
CrustaceanCrusader: This an effect we've seen before, but it produces a nice card. Somewhat boring, but balanced and nice.
Stapler: Wall of text! But very flavorful and powerful. I like it.
Prophylaxis: Good, balanced, flavorful. A good combination of effects, but not that innovative.
reebtoor: This is a greeeeat card, but severely undercosted. Also, it needs an update on the wording and rarity.
Ninja Caterpie: Very powerful, high pick in limited. I like it. If name is a great pun, I don't get it.
bloodyspam: Now. This. Is. Beautiful. Simple, elegant, flavorful, balanced, on-color. Maybe is not that innovative, but is a great card.
avatarz: Can you see this is a -2, destroy target creature? Bonkers!
Klejs: I'm afraid this can get out of control with some powerful effects. Needs to be a rare, as any pinger of the block will go mad with this in limited.
Oculus: Nice and balanced. I like this card and its sheaningans.
Wizzpig: Lovely and of course, on color... yet a free, uncountereable Lotus Cobra seems too powerful, specially in multiples. Maybe Legendary?
Winterspring: You are right that's wonky and unelegant. I like the effect, but there should be better ways to do it.
k-rad: Another simple and elegant effect. Can be a drawback, can be a winner, can be a hoser... just because the hoser, should be rare, IMO.
JonFuryZacharias: Another untapping sheaningans stuff. This is simpler and more balanced.
Tranquilo: I like the card, but I don't get my coffee flavor. But a Plant Soldier is fun.
secrethumorman: This is nice and powerful. Balanced, and the emblem is innovative enough. I like it.
Winner: bloodyspam. HM to secrethumorman. Next challenge:
1. Instants with Benefits (a card that gives you a bonus if used during your turn, like Careful Consideration.)
2. A Grixis version of a current Bant card.
