Blaze of Glory2R
Enchantment (Rare)
Exalted (Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, it gets +1/+1 until end of turn.)
Whenever a creature you control attacks alone, double its power until end of turn. If you do, sacrifice it at the beginning of your next end step. "Strive for a good death, brother. I'll see you in the God's domain."
Love the formatting. It's simple, reasonably flavorful but probably too situational. Also repeatable shuffle is very annoying. In the decks that you want this, the shuffling would drag the games out too much. So props for the clean reconcepting but it won't win. Perosnally, I would have done something different, putting the card at the bottom and gaining 1 life
Mergatroid_Jones:
This is concepted after Alpha/Beta as being part of the set in addition to the formatting. If I was unclear here, I'm sorry, but that wasn't what I had in mind. The card is too underpowered and discard ability too much of a cost to avoid the life loss. But it'd work in Alpha/Beta.
Phyrexian Editor:
I'm not a big fan of this without playtesting it. Props for the unique effect and its flavorful concept. But reading it, I assume it requires some setup to work and will bite you in the ass most of the time - andif it doesn't, it's not fun to play against.
TheRavenManIsSquee
I see the early wording again, nice touch as above The restriction to main phases is probably an Alpha/Beta conceit which I wasn't clear about - I wasn't looking for that. I'd change it to be during your turn. In addition, repeated searching and shuffling are both big nonos except in certain situations, and I don't think it's appropriate here, even if it's very flavorful.
TotallyHaywire
Wording is fun as with the other challenges. However this card is broken. Let's say you drop this on turn 2. The drawback is too weak here, the reutn to hand is extremely powerful and the drawback is turned into an extremely powerful ability late game. The ability also has a lot of variance with probably little control over what creatures get back for free - and the decks that do repeatable scry or have similar control over the card would probably break it beyond recognition. Novel design that's flavorfully tied to the word, but it's too powerful.
Subject16
So this is my favorite card of the entries. You can choose between having a temporary aggressive attacker or attack with a bunch of creatures without the same fear of the drawback. Flavorful name and concept.
