Progenitor KrasisXUG
Creature- Ooze Fish Ape (M)
Progenitor Krasis enters the battlefield with X +1/+1 counters on it.
Creature Spells you cast cost 1 less to cast for each +1/+1 counter on Progenitor Krasis. If this would reduce a spell's cost to less than 1, it reduces it to 1 instead.
0/0
Edit: Good call, void. I knew there was a better way to word it, but I couldn't conjure it for some reason.
IIW: Return to Ixalan is much less tribe focused than the original set, and it needs a distinct mechanical theme to replace that focus. Make a card (or two) to demonstrate such a theme.
Homunctopus2U
Creature - Octopus Homunculus {U} 1U, T: Adapt 1, draw a card (If this creature has no +1/+1 counters on it, put a +1/+1 counter on it.)
Discard a card: Untap Homunctopus
As long as it has less than eight +1/+1 counters on it, Homunctopus adapts as though it had no +1/+1 counters on it.
0/2
I couldn't come up with any good flavor text (not that there was room), but his name is Drflrg
Ragworm Battlecruiser6G
Creature - Leviathan Worm (R)
Ragworm Battlecruiser can't be blocked except by creatures with flying. U: Target creature you control with lesser power than Ragworm Battlecruiser gets +1/+0 and can't be blocked until end of turn. Ragworm Battlecruiser gets -1/-0 until end of turn.
5/7
Mirrislegend: This card is pretty overpowered. Repeated creature stealing usually requires a lot of setup to do so, but this does it with no drawback at instant speed. A walking angler fish is a good Krasis design however.
Graffd20: Nice design, with good flavor text. The counter removal might be too efficient without a mana cost considering it comes into play with two of them already. Octopus Cat is a very cool design and I'm sure I'd be horrified at the art for this card.
Ukla: Quite a good card all things considered, but this should be more of a Colossal Whale callback with the "exile until" type. It's also a bit too expensive for my tastes. Ooze Whale isn't too interesting of a creature type considering you could just slap Ooze on anything and make it Simic though.
Sephon19: They'll only print this card when pigs fly!! All jokes aside, Serra Avenger shows us you can get more power for restrictions on cheap but powerful creatures, so I could see this as a 4/4 or a 3/3 with trample. Boar Bird is good alliteration and I like it.
Mergatroid_Jones: Cool card that's very similar to Animar. Ooze Fish Ape is a nice creature type, makes me think of the "missing link" concept.
willows: This probably has some wording issues that play design would change to fit their card structure. But it does a good job bridging the gap between fish and humans with Merfolk as well as provide a lord for the two tribes. However the Krasis are definitely animalistic hybrids rather than humanoid so I wouldn't say this card fits the challenge criteria.
Cardz5000: Holy mother this card can get big quickly as well as filter through your deck? There's a lot to process here and you conveyed the octopus feel well by implementing Adapt exemptions. I also appreciate the fact you gave it a name and tried to add a callback to Fblthp.
Void_nothing: Good callback to Simic Ragworm. The second ability makes me think that it's swallowing the creatures and transporting them across in its maw as some sort of infiltration tactic. Leviathan Worm makes me think of the Sky Swallowers but without flying. Interesting card and very strong for limited.
Cool designs overall, but I'm giving the win to Cardz5000
Next Challenge: Non-Ixalan cards that use treasure
Party Leader3W
Creature - Kor Warrior Ally (R)

When Party Leader or another ally enters the battlefield under your control, create a colorless Treasure artifact token with "Tap, Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color." 1,T: Create a 1/1 White Kor Ally Creature Token.

The runic armor was only just as shiny as Grok's rock collection. He might have to give a discount."
2/2
Subject16, that is an awesome card, but I kinda wish you made it sac an artifact and give treasure equal to CMC. Then again, it is a goblin salesman...
Blackerton Agent2B
Creature - Human Scout (U)
Whenever a creature dealt damage by Blackerton Agent this turn dies, create a colorless Treasure artifact token with, "T, Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool."
2/2 "Bad news for you. They said dead or alive. And dead is much easier."

IIW: Following the lukewarm reception of BFZ block, development has decided replace Emrakul with something non-Eldrazi for Eldritch Moon. Make something that represents that evil, or serves it.
Gwafa Hazid, Caravan SatrapWU
Legendary Creature - Human Rogue (R) WU: Tap another target creature. Counter any number of activated and/or triggered abilities with that creature as their source. That creature's controller creates a colorless Treasure artifact token with "T, Sacrifice this artifact: Add one mana of any color" if that creature was tapped in this way, plus an additional one for each activated or triggered ability countered in this way. "Some prices are dearer than others, but all are worth it."

MtG is where you can hate white players or black players, and still not be racist.
graffd02: This feels not white... Subject16: Excellent rare with excellent goblin flavor-text, I'm not sure what deck would want to run it, but it's a fun puzzle LnGrrrR: Blackerton is probably a word to be avoided. but this feels like a nice and natural evolution of the... vampire ability? we need a better name for that trigger. Mergatroid_Jones: This is definitely a high risk-high reward card, but it could actually probably slot right into the Lord Windgrace precon with littler to no ill effects. void_nothing: cards like Nomads en-Kor break this. considering you can target your own creatures. Sephon19: I feel like this is a less fragile Trove of Temptation. It would be really cool if the recursion weren't optional (at the beginning of your upkeep, tap a mountain you control. If you do, return ~ to your hand) and then add some cool dwarven flavor about the compulsion to dig too deep JaceTheBodySculptor: Why isn't this an artifact? VolrathTheRisen: Same Forestsguy: this guy feels off to me. at the very least, I think it should only care about treasure like Captain Lannery Storm.
Krark, Goblin Carpenter 1R
Legendary Creature - Goblin
If an opponent would flip a coin, instead they flip two coins and you choose one result.
If an opponent would roll a die, instead they roll two dice and you choose one result.
2/2
"Aww geez, I'm all thumbs today!" - Krark
Deliberate Engineers 3R
Creature - Goblin Artificier U 3R, T: Return target artifact from your graveyard to the battlefield. At the beginning of the next end step, sacrifice it. When you do, it deals damage to each player equal to its converted mana cost.
2/2 "It took days... Then, finally! I finished the engine drive! And it exploded in my face."
"Perfect!"
I think that's 4 consecutive wins for Subject16. Not unimpressive.
Brainwashing Station4
Artifact (R)
At the beginning of your end step, put a blank counter on target creature. That creature loses all abilities and can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control for long as it has a blank counter on it. If this would leave a creature with unspecified power or toughness, unspecified amounts are 1. "All minions must wash brains before returning to work."
Krenko Mob Toss1R
Instant (C)
As an additional cost to cast Krenko Mob Toss, sacrifice a Goblin.
Krenko Mob Toss deals damage equal to two plus the sacrificed Goblin's power to any target. Unlike most, Krenko's cronies don't care where the door hits you on the way out.
IIW: A madness enabler with madness.

I think that's 4 consecutive wins for Subject16. Not unimpressive.
On to judgments (gonna keep these ones short and sweet):
graffd20: We're bound to get a Krark card at some point soon, and I can imagine something like this being very possible as to reference his thumbs. The flavor text nicely works with that, considering he lost his thumbs in some kind of wager and being "all thumbs" means being clumsy. I like it!
Sephon19: Very interesting card, like Feldon-lite with burn as well. You could do some interesting things with this card, and the flavour text encapsulates the goblin explosion fanatic idea very well.
Mergatroid_Jones: I like the idea behind this card. Being able to wipe a creature of its abilities is a good way to represent brainwashing. It's like the fixed version of Humility, and the flavor text has a very silver-bordered feel to it, so I could imagine this card on some kind of whacky dystopian plane. Very nice design.
Flatline: Goblin-style Fling is a nice idea, and I love the name being a reference to Krenko, Mob Boss. The flavor text is pretty funny but I would have preferred it if they deliberately tried to get you to hit the door on your way out, it lends to the image of a goblin being thrown out of a tavern through the door which is a pretty comedic image.
The winner this round is Mergatroid_Jones!
Next challenge: Temur mechanic.

Subject16: Excellent rare with excellent goblin flavor-text, I'm not sure what deck would want to run it, but it's a fun puzzle
LnGrrrR: Blackerton is probably a word to be avoided. but this feels like a nice and natural evolution of the... vampire ability? we need a better name for that trigger.
If you do, return ~ to your hand) and then add some cool dwarven flavor about the compulsion to dig too deep
JaceTheBodySculptor: Why isn't this an artifact?
VolrathTheRisen: Same
Forestsguy: this guy feels off to me. at the very least, I think it should only care about treasure like Captain Lannery Storm.
Winner is Subject16, with an HM for Sephon19

Brainwashing Station 4
Artifact (R)
At the beginning of your end step, put a blank counter on target creature. That creature loses all abilities and can't be the target of spells or abilities your opponents control for long as it has a blank counter on it. If this would leave a creature with unspecified power or toughness, unspecified amounts are 1.
"All minions must wash brains before returning to work."
IIW: Temur mechanic.
