Lightning Round entry:
Unfinished Report3
Artifact (M)
Whenever you draw a card, put a page counter on Unfinished Report
At the beginning of your upkeep, if there are thirty or more page counters on Unfinished Report, you win the game.
IIW: Take a character from Inside Out and turn it into a card.
Overtime2UU
Enchantment (R)
At the beginning of your end step, untap all creatures you control. "I have good news and bad news. The good news is that your getting more money on your next paycheck! The bad news is that these blank scrolls don't fill themselves with healing! Back to work!"
Tax Audit5WW
Sorcery (R)
For each card in target player's graveyard, put a debt counter on a land he or she controls. As long as each of those lands has a debt counter on it, it has, "If this would untap, remove a debt counter from it instead." Tap them.
Office worker philosophy can be approximised as: winning is not a final goal, not losing for long enough is. Let's look at the entries!
PancoPonceN: The card implies that once you finish the dreaded report, you have done something useful and productive. Not only this is rarey the case, in gameplay terms, drawing 30+ cards means you've already probably won. Unless Day's End shenaningans, but that seems like a really bad deck. InkTreader: Make your creatures do twice as much for a measly four mana! That's what I call good management. No benefit to them and they will probably die as blockers, but hey, it was their decision to be a team player. willows: It is opressive and a massive B to account for, so that's a plus. On the other hand, this should be a symmetrical effect for less mana. Tilwin: Oh, I like how your creatures go insane over a single discarded card. JuanCu: Cool card, but I can't wait for IIW - I'm leaving early today.
Winner: InkTreader
Lightning Round challenge #2: Make Strionic Resonator shine!
Okay. Alternate challenge: Single word card names. If AA isn't back in 6 hours, I propose whoever wins mine becomes the next actual judge. Cause this is silly.
Lapson2: I feel like this needs a silly flavor text.
PanchoPonceN: Yup. Strionic Resonator would love this to no end.
SelesnyaNewLife: Strictly better Flying Men? Maybe...
PanchoPonceN: Fits the name well enough.
WINNER: PanchoPonceN
Next challenge: Take a character from DC or Marvel and turn it into a card.
Caped Crusader2WB Legendary Creature - Human (R)
Vigilance
Whenever a creature deals damage to you, you may return Caped Crusader to your hand. If you do, destroy that creature. "I spilled a lot of blood, and every drop was for this city. And yet I'm not bled dry."
4/4
IIW: Looks powerful but isn't
Private Mod Note

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Wizards can start putting booster packs inside dog poo and dog owners will still complain.
The posts still "exist", so they take up a post number for actual bookkeeping. But for all intents & purposes, they don't exist, so they aren't factored into the replies (or your post count). It may also count merged posts, but I'd have to double check that.
NEXT: turn a 1C card into a CC card
avatarz- costs aren't allowed to target.
KK- no you're suspended.
