Soldier's Bride3W
Creature - Human (C)
Vigilance
Soldier's Bride enters the battlefield with two +1/+1 counters on it if a Human creature you control died this turn. "You may have taken my husband, but you will not take my home."
2/3
Loaming MediaryBG
Creature — Centaur Advisor (U)
When Loaming Mediary enters the battlefield, target opponent gains control of it.

2/3
Flamingo FledglingUR
Creature — Bird (R)
Flying
Whenever Flamingo Fledgling deals combat damage to a player, you may put a post counter on it. If you do, draw X cards, then discard X cards, where X is the number of post counters on Flamingo Fledgling. Born barely capable of spellcraft, flamingo young rapidly acquire an uncanny knack for magic.
1/1
Seems like that could be a more flavorful type of counter than a charge counter, CC.

Tribal Storyteller2(W/G)(W/G)
Creature - Human (R)
When Tribal Storyteller dies, you may search your library for up to two creature cards with converted mana cost 1 or less and put them onto the battlefield. If you do, shuffle your library.

Blood TetherB EnchantmentU
As ~ enters the battlefield, put link counters on two target creatures.
When a creature with a link counter on it dies, destroy each other creature with a link counter on it. I don't trust coin, morals or concept of loyalty. This - this is the best oath a bodyguard can give.

Card: I like this card, but I'm not sure I'd want to keyword something that'll only ever happen once per game.
Story: This version makes a lot more sense than previous versions I read earlier today.
pstmdrn
Card: Is this effect blue? I mean, it's not necessarily defined by precedence, but it doesn't feel incredibly blue either, especially since blue has the least creature keywords of all.
Story: I mean, this has great flavor, but I don't really get a story from this.
Ink-Treader
Cards: As lands, these are kinda meh. They're fine, but they don't enter untapped until later in the game, which is kind of par for the course and less meaningful.
Story: Awesome work with the flavor text.
Penguin
Card: I like the design, probably uncommon though
Story: Is this a reference I don't get? I understand what the card's supposed to be, but the name's kinda out there.
greensleeves
Card: This seems really strong, the ability to have a flash anthem is already powerful, let alone flash Edric.
Story: I don't get it, was this intended for this challenge?
HeiKailin
Card: I kinda liked the card in its earlier form as a 1/1 or 3/3. This form is fine too, though feels out of place being a potential 4/5 human wife.
Story: Love it.
Winterspring
Card: An interesting design. I like how it has very different advantages and disadvantages versus a standard kill spell.
Story: Flavor is decent, but I have a hard time making it out. Why do things with counters on them not die after being crippled? I'm kinda lost.
maximumbuttitude
Card: This is a strange card. Its annoying for sure, but is it worth giving away a decent creature?
Story: Flavor's alright, but I don't see a whole lot of story.
Chemtrails
Card: I feel like this should have haste. Partial to make it feel more red, and partially because it feels far too fragile to build up any real clout.
Story: Cute
SNL
Card: Feels like a split card. Also, based on which side made it to print, the ending of this story's kind of been spoiled.
Story: Despite being silly, I like the concept here.
Sir Karn
Card: Seems like a Pod deck's dream. This feels like a natural overlap of white and green.
Story: Obligatory literal challenge interpretation. This does still manage to convey a decent story though.
Coletrain
Card: I know this is top down, but it's really clunky. It takes a full three turns under specific conditions to transform him, at which point he gets a measly +1/+1 bonus. Given the standard size of humans, it's hard to imagine a case where sacrificing him would be a good idea, even with the ability to grant first strike.
Story: Superb. Flavor text is pretty awkward, but the card concept is pure gold.
AA
Card: I wish there was a less awkward way of pulling this off. I hate it when auras have etb effects that vastly outweigh their actual aura effects.
Story: Good idea, but it misses the mark by just a little bit IMO. Maybe he should get -x/-0 for each creature in their graveyard, just so he feels guilty about more than his one buddy.
Emocakes
Card: The awkward part about this is that if it attacks once it'll never untap.
Story: Interesting flavor, not much of a story though, unless it's the vagabond who's supposed to be telling them.
AmShegar
Card: The first card is not heroic, it just has a similar ability. I do like this card though.
The second card is cool, but clunky. I dislike how it sticks around doing nothing, and how you can play a second one and then kill all four creatures at once.
Story: Both have good flavor, though the second has a little more story potential than the first.

"In the beginning, MTG Salvation switched to a new forum format.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move."
It was at that moment that I realized: I'm kinda just making these things up. We can just write the rules the way we want them to work. People will have fun, and people will get it.
