You can extrapolate mechanics from these, and you should obviously have some kind of flavor woven into a decent number of abilities of the subtype's cards to personify it within the game, but it should not have the exact same type of mechanics each and every time. Does every Elf have a mana ability? Does every Goblin have haste or a self-sacrifice ability? Does every Dragon have firebreathing?
