I allowed myself to modify the mana cost of the Roc since a) that card is not red b) hybrid costs are clearly not from this set
a) It's a first striking dude that wants to attack every turn to deal more damage. Saying that Roc is not red is like saying the Slith mechanic is not Red (and the whole Innistrad block is happy to prove you wrong). Literally the only thing that it's kinda-not-Red is flying, but Flying is allowed as long as it's both at Uncommon or above and costs a lot of mana. Roc is pretty Red (aka. "the Dragon Rule").
b) Lustra had two multicolor cards at Common, one of which, by the way, had a hybrid ability. Multicolor is a theme that completely dissapeared from Lustra to Slaves. We even had defined color duos in Lustra with mechanics and stuff, but it all disappeared in Slaves. Roc being Hybrid is meant to bridge that.

Chaos Reign: The situation looks bleak for Glem Arkadia as the Eons attempt to save thier plane has failed and Thantrax has corrupted the Eons in twisted versions of their former selves. With few friends and many enemies the newly ascended planeswalker Isos makes his way to ancient Island of Ij'yama, where legend has it that an ancient weapon is kept sealed: a weapon that could slay even a Eon, however Thantrax's legion is in hot pursuit. Will Isos manage to slay Thantrax or fall to the madness?
a) It's a first striking dude that wants to attack every turn to deal more damage. Saying that Roc is not red is like saying the Slith mechanic is not Red (and the whole Innistrad block is happy to prove you wrong). Literally the only thing that it's kinda-not-Red is flying, but Flying is allowed as long as it's both at Uncommon or above and costs a lot of mana. Roc is pretty Red (aka. "the Dragon Rule").
b) Lustra had two multicolor cards at Common, one of which, by the way, had a hybrid ability. Multicolor is a theme that completely dissapeared from Lustra to Slaves. We even had defined color duos in Lustra with mechanics and stuff, but it all disappeared in Slaves. Roc being Hybrid is meant to bridge that.
Now, if you don't mind, I'll allow myself to change my card back.
Having a hybrid cost means that a card must be one AND another color. BOTH options must be perfectly viable in the color pie. Now, does your card seem a 3RR card? Not really. I have no problems with multicolored cards, if it was costed 3RW I wouldn't have said anything, but the use of hybrid costs at random is something that repels me and is costantly the source of many bad card designs. "Could this card be only this color?" is the right question when creating a hybrid card. And please, don't came up with Falkenrath Marauders as an example, it has flavour reasons that on your card are absent.

I'm well aware of how Hybrids are designed, so I'm sure that it's viable as both R and W. I'm also very aware that Hybrids allow some degree of bleeding as well (Dovescape and White counters? Ghastlord of Fugue and Blue discard? Giant Solifuge and Red Shroud? Murderous Redcap and Black creature damage?). The only bleeding you seem to be peeved about is Flying, which as I said is fine as long as it's on Uncommon and costs a lot of mana. As I said, it's the Dragon Rule Wizards themselves use. You still haven't provided a solid reason why my card is wrong, is what I'm saying.
I also see no problem with Falkrenrath Marauder - it's definitely not a bleed. One could argue that it's a bend (a card doing things possible on its color, but in a way that it's too efficient/too different/overlaps with other color), but NOT a bleed. By the way, Falkenrath makes less sense in a flavor standpoint, because many Innistrad Vampires don't fly. Why does he? Your guess is as good as mine, but either way, MaRo himself said you can justify anything with good enough flavor, so it doesn't matter either way.

Also, I love random effects sooo much and it fits so well but playing with Wildspeaker Elf would be miserable, having to roll each time you activate it... And if you have multiples... *shudder* I'll try again with a tweak, if you don't mind. Meanwhile, I'll pick Molten Lasher.

a) It's a first striking dude that wants to attack every turn to deal more damage. Saying that Roc is not red is like saying the Slith mechanic is not Red (and the whole Innistrad block is happy to prove you wrong). Literally the only thing that it's kinda-not-Red is flying, but Flying is allowed as long as it's both at Uncommon or above and costs a lot of mana. Roc is pretty Red (aka. "the Dragon Rule").
b) Lustra had two multicolor cards at Common, one of which, by the way, had a hybrid ability. Multicolor is a theme that completely dissapeared from Lustra to Slaves. We even had defined color duos in Lustra with mechanics and stuff, but it all disappeared in Slaves. Roc being Hybrid is meant to bridge that.

Zumm: Living fast and dying young is more than a state of mind on this plane. An high influx of red mana has caused the plane to be in constant motion. Nomadic human tribes wage fast and bloody wars for constantly shifting territory. Primitive leonin tribes hunt and are hunted by the hypersonic predators of the Moving Jungle. Meanwhile goblins roam around capturing other species to ritually sacrifice to the elementals that dwell in constantly volcanic mountain ranges. However the plane and its people are beginning to rapidly break down.
Chaos Reign: The situation looks bleak for Glem Arkadia as the Eons attempt to save thier plane has failed and Thantrax has corrupted the Eons in twisted versions of their former selves. With few friends and many enemies the newly ascended planeswalker Isos makes his way to ancient Island of Ij'yama, where legend has it that an ancient weapon is kept sealed: a weapon that could slay even a Eon, however Thantrax's legion is in hot pursuit. Will Isos manage to slay Thantrax or fall to the madness?
I'm well aware of how Hybrids are designed, so I'm sure that it's viable as both R and W. I'm also very aware that Hybrids allow some degree of bleeding as well (Dovescape and White counters? Ghastlord of Fugue and Blue discard? Giant Solifuge and Red Shroud? Murderous Redcap and Black creature damage?). The only bleeding you seem to be peeved about is Flying, which as I said is fine as long as it's on Uncommon and costs a lot of mana. As I said, it's the Dragon Rule Wizards themselves use. You still haven't provided a solid reason why my card is wrong, is what I'm saying.
I also see no problem with Falkrenrath Marauder - it's definitely not a bleed. One could argue that it's a bend (a card doing things possible on its color, but in a way that it's too efficient/too different/overlaps with other color), but NOT a bleed. By the way, Falkenrath makes less sense in a flavor standpoint, because many Innistrad Vampires don't fly. Why does he? Your guess is as good as mine, but either way, MaRo himself said you can justify anything with good enough flavor, so it doesn't matter either way.

How about just replacing "Lightning" with "Thunder" or "Bolt"? Pretty much the same thing really.
Also, I love random effects sooo much and it fits so well but playing with Wildspeaker Elf would be miserable, having to roll each time you activate it... And if you have multiples... *shudder* I'll try again with a tweak, if you don't mind. Meanwhile, I'll pick Molten Lasher.
