Inaquehat is a plane where the flow of time stopped long time ago due to the spell of Queen Emedia, a powerful sorceress. The landscape is cold and colorless and a giant meteor hangs motionless from the sky, right over the Queen trapped in eternal ice. She sacrificed herself to save her plane from destruction, at the price of her life and the time itself.
The only places where the time flows normally is around big, magic crystals charged with the Queen's mana called Aurei. The capital city of Yata Sehen owns the largest of these magic artifacts and its surrounding is the only area where life flows normally. Very few species have enough mana to repel the time freeze enchantment and most species are subject to strange temporal effects.
But the Aureis are slowly losing their power, and so is the Queen's spell. Time is running out, literally, and the menace of Throgazor, the Star of Omen, is once again upon Inaquehat.

Dhuniimok, long-dead, stirs. The monstrous plane is due for a Resurrection, so the Cult of Rebirth believes, and now two people - a Sinad missionary and a Formian hierophage - are being hailed as prophets by multiple groups hoping for salvation by any means. But only the hierophage, Ssitzin, realizes that the Cult's actions may be entirely insignificant - and the revival of the corpseplane may be both inevitable and by its own will...
Grauchenstein's mountains hide many secrets, for the ministries that run this land have, for generations, maintained their assets in the most secure vaults ever devised. And in this land of clockwork and order are dropped five planeswalkers, all with the same agenda: Break into the Diamant, Grauchenstein's most impossible stockpile, and retrieve a prize for their mysterious client.
