Most of the people on the plane are not aware about the existence of these avatar. actually i felt the other way around.. without any guide, the first few cards of the booster don't usually define what the set is about especially without flavor text to support us further about how the life on the plane is.. which is why i try to do something different, which is to give a very general idea of the mechanics on the plane so the booster will feel more like a booster from the same set..

I think that's the point, really: By limiting peoples' contributions to one card at a time, we build the expansions brick-by-brick. I like the fact that each expansion gets a little more fleshed out as the number of cards increases, and that we can build on others' ideas as we go along.
That said, I see nothing wrong with including a basic direction for the set in the description, as long as it's limited to just a basic direction. Making set profiles too specific tends to kill the creativity.

i think the plane is more of a flavor direction.. just like how greece theme is for theros.. while the enchantment matters would be the game guide.. from there we could be more focused in building the bricks of the set itself..
and from what i see previously, as long as the first few able to formulize how the set would be mechanic wise by coming up with keyword or sound looking mechanic, the booster will look really good.. otherwise, it may feel like bunch of cards with similar flavor, but if you close the name and just look at the mechanic, you may not realize its from the same set..

some descriptions are detailed enough for us to know what kind of mechanic may be put on the set. while some other tells very little, giving us no clue of what might be done. well, for a second or third set it would be easier since we can just look at how cards develop before hand but for a new set it can be quite difficult. like the previous one, Warajoroo, from the description we just knew its a Australian themed plane, no conflict whatsoever.. it just gave us we might expect we will have creatures and humanoid creatures behaving like how it was in old Australia, apart from that, we maybe see a little of what could be a tribal based set.. but that's all.. which i think it may not be enough.. usually new big set would have at least five mechanics and we will see multiple copies of cards containing at least three of them in the set.. thus giving further direction that is wide enough, we can do a lot of things while keeping it inside, in short, if it is said to be aura matters.. you can propose any kind of mechanic that has something to do with aura or anything that triggers with aura or have a more efficient auras in that set.. by agreeing on this before hand, we can create a better looking booster pack imo while not compromising and although it will challenge us to work within a boundary, it will still be large enough for us to be creative..

Note: Yes, I know it's "Kicker: Sacrafice a land" but I think it fits in with the idea that the citizens and nobles from Cleghorn are taking advantage of a new land with medieval style tools. Also sort of ties in with Cleghorn's Kicker mechanic, while still being unique to a new block.
