Edit 3: I just realized that my first card wouldn't work like I intended since the stack would be empty by the time he deals combat damage. I guess it would still work with Fling type effects, and as protection from burn. Is there someway I could word this to make Frenzied Champion work? I need to keep thinking about this one.

Actually, for flavor reasons, this would also be interesting if you made the cards go outside the color pie. Let's say an enemy color ability. Something like this....
