Other Cephalids you control get +1/+1

Lish, Cephalid Boilermage :symur::symur::symur:
Legendary Creature - Cephalid Mage
:symur:,:symtap:: Lish, Cephalid Boilermage deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
:1mana::symu::symr:,:symtap:, Sacrifice Lish: Destroy two target non-Island, non-Mountain lands.
1/1 "...and the wave of steaming water rolled over the beach and into the forest, setting it aflame, and boiling every living thing alive."
--Water-logged journal
Cephalid Dweller1UU
Creature - Cephalid Rogue (U)
Hexproof
When Cephalid Dweller deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, then search your library for a Cephalid card and put that card into your hand. Then shuffle your library.
2/1
Ink Spreader2U
Creature - Squid
Whenever a creature attacks you, that creature loses all abilities until end of turn.
1/3
IIW: Converted mana cost 6 or greater (interpret that how you like).
I like the idea behind this guy, but it might be too strong. Losing all abilities is a pretty blanket action, getting rid of activated and triggered abilities, as well as things like trample, lifelink, deathtouch and being indestructible. A tad too powerful for my tastes.
Taki, the Squid invader 2UU
Planeswalker - Taki (M)
[+1]: Until the beginning of your next turn, squid, kraken, cephalid or octopus creatures cost UU less to cast (if this would reduces their cost below U, they cost U instead)
[-2]: Search your library for a squid, kraken, cephalid or octopus creature card. Reveal it and put it into your hand. Shuffle your library afterwards.
[-8:] Gain control of up to 8 target permanents.
<4>
IIW: a Return to ravnica card
Cool! I'm not sure if UU is too much for a +1 for a 4 mana walker, but it's a cool combo of abilities. The -8 doesn't necessarily fit with the other two, but it does fit with my idea of squid invaders overall.
Omnipus2UU [M]
Legendary Creature - Cephalid Wizard
Hexproof
Each other creature you control has all abilities of Omnipus except for this one.
2/2
This guy is awesome! I kinda wish it didn't give everything hexproof, though, since blanket hexproof is very unfun for others. Two Drogskol Captains is rough enough, but giving everything hexproof from one creature is even rougher. If it had another ability, I would have been more excited, since I like that it shares everything.
Inkspout Inspirer 1UU Creature - Cephalid [R]
Other Cephalids you control get +1/+1
Tap an untapped Cephalid you control: Tap target creature with flying.

IIW: Ral Zarek
Sweet! I love that you made a cephalid lord. It's other ability is interesting too, being useful without being too powerful. Well done.
So how about a cephalid that joined some sort of dark suicidal cult?
Corrupted cephalid :1mana::symub::symub:
Creature - Cephalid Cleric (U)
When ~deals combat damage to an opponent you may sacrifice it. If you do, draw 3 cards. Even the wisest and bravest cephalid can be seduced by the cult of pleasure.
2/2
IIW: Take 2 of your favorite magic creatures and imagine what it would be like if they had a baby.
I like this one a lot too. It's in the same vein as Blind Zealot, but sans intimidate, which seems an appropriate tradeoff for the hybrid flexibility.
Lish, Cephalid Boilermage :symur::symur::symur:
Interesting. I like that the second ability requires a sacrifice, and has a turn where you can't use it, but I'm not sure how important the first ability is, since this would often be used in tournaments just to land hose.
Cephalid Dweller1UU
Creature - Cephalid Rogue (U)
Hexproof
When Cephalid Dweller deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, then search your library for a Cephalid card and put that card into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

IIW: New Prerelease cards for RtR
THis guy seems pretty reasonable to me. He lets you tutor for your other cephalids if he connects, and he has hexproof, but he's fragile enough that you have to be careful with him in direct combat. I like him a lot.
It was a close one between Bertech.dk and Prophylaxis, so it came down to their IIWs. Since it's RtR hype time, lets go with that one. Prophylaxis wins.
Rakdos's ProdigyBR [R]
Creature - Human Berserker
Double Strike
Rakdos's Initiate has Unleash as long as an opponent has discarded a card this turn. (You may have it enter the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter. If you do, it can't block.)
3/0
AI: This is a very good design (and lol Axelrod being the last scum) but I'm not a huge fan of the anti-synergy with this. I feel like I would just run Grave Titan instead; he works well with Zombies. This makes zombies but doesn't work well with them.
arbitaryarmor: Nice ploy with the aggressive costing. I feel like it has a "hidden cost", however. Discard usually costs mana. The fact that you can't play this on your own hurts this entry. Froxbite: Doesn't meet the challenge. The +Power is huge, however. headley: This is a pretty solid Selesnya card. Doesn't really meet the challenge, as I can see this being an uncommon and I want a splashy prerelease card. Eskimo_Rage: I like how it mimics the original Tolsimar. All in all, this is a pretty splashy prerelease card that I'd be happy to have. bloodyspasm: This is also an acceptable prerelease card. One problem I see here is that scavenging a creature doesn't put the card into the grave - it exiles it, making a non-bo with the second ability. Squirrel_Bear: I believe the counter thingy was used in the Corpsejack. All in all, solid. Cythare: A wall for a prerelease card, nice risk. I like the second ability but it doesn't really fit in what Azorius aims to do in the set - durdly control.
Straight-Jacket Maniac 2R
Creature - Human Berserker U
Defender
Straight-Jacket Maniac enters the battlefield with two restraint counters on it.
During your upkeep, remove a restraint counter from it. When Straight-Jacket Maniac
has no restraint counters on it, it loses defender and gets +3/+3.
3/3
Restrained Pyromaniac :symr::symr:
Creature - Human Maniac[U]
~ can't attack.
Whenever ~ blocks, it deals damage equal to its power to target creature or player.
3/1 "The candlelight whipped the man into a frenzy. Recommended daily therapy."
--Doctor's notes
I feel like this would make a great uncommon cycle. A bunch of maniacs that do different things when blocked.
Delirious Dreamer 1UB
Creature - Human Wizard (R)
Defender
When Delirious Dreamer enters the battlefield, put a 5/5 black Nightmare Horror creature token onto the battlefield.
When Delirious Dreamer leaves the battlefield, sacrifice a Nightmare. If you can't, each opponent draws two cards.

Arkham Asylum
Land (R)
Discard a card,:symtap:: Add 1 to your mana pool.
Whenever you discard a card put an insanity counter on Arkham Asylum.
Sacrifice Arkham Asylum,:symtap:: Put a 1/1 black minion creature token with intimidate onto the battlefield.
Keep of Tragic Secrets
Legendary Land T, Sacrifice a Creature: Add GB to your manapool. The madness needed to be hidden, so they put them away. Some never returned, and the rest didn't return the same.
I know that they won't be printing land that produces more than 1CC any time soon, but with a flavor twist, this would have been a pretty cool rare cycle for Ravnica.
Yes! It can be in the name of the card, the effects can represent the concept of forgotten, it can be a re-work of a card you consider to be forgotten, etc..

It's OK, but limited fodder in my eyes. There isn't much of a difference between one and two mana.
