Four-Legged Damnation
Land Creature - Rat (Uncommon Rare)
:xmana:: Four-Legged Damnation deals X damage to each other creature and each player. Tap Four-Legged Damnation and remove it from combat.
1/1 Beware anything born among the land where scavengers nest in hollowed out rib-cages and chittering crawlers peer from empty eye sockets.
Cauterizer1RW
Creature - Human Cleric (U)
Protection from red
Whenever a source you control deals damage to a creature you control put a +1/+1 counter on that creature.
2/1
Note that this do not let Cauterizer put +1/+1 counters on himself for firespells which is bad. But it works with Doll and Tamanoa.
When i have just started playing, my favorite deck was built around Illusions like Krovikan Mist. So here it goes:
Shepherd of IllusionsUUUUU
Creature - Illusion (MR)
Flash, flying
Other Illusion creatures you control get +1/+1. T: Put a token onto the battlefield that's a copy of target creature. It is a blue Illusion in addition to it's other colors and creature types and has "Whenever this permanent becomes the target of a spell or ability, sacrifice it".
2/2 The more the mist, the more the phantoms.
Squirrel Queen1GG
Creature- Squirrel {R}
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a 1/1 green Squirrel creature token onto the battlefield. 1G: Regenerate target Squirrel.
2/2
nope: I really like the idea, but I think it is somewhat too powerful. Maybe remove the basic land types? B Promatim: Cool card. Shouldn't it be an artifact? I'd like it to have a white ability instead of one of the blue ones on the "Choose one" trigger. Also, the fat ass combined with deathtouch is quite nasty. C+ CrimsonCrossfire: The "2 times X" and "remove 2 counter" seem unneccesary and clunky to me. Why not "enters the battlefield with X counters" and "remove a counter"? The casting cost seems like a bombo with March of the Machines. Otherwise I like the card. Probably not rare worthy, imo. B- cannon: card seems appropiately costed to me, but for some reason I just don't fancy it. I can see how it would fit in your deck, though. C- Brofaux: I think the card itself is relatively weak for its cost, but I can imagine it would be killer in your deck. B Pendle: In itself an awful card. I cannot imagine a reason to play this card except in your Megrim deck. If the card had said "target player" rather than "target opponent" it would have been miles better, but still far from overpowered C DeusofCalamity: Seems like an overcosted Overrun to me. It should be a lot more powerful, especially at a rare. C+ Ni3 kan4 zhe4ge ju1zi ma?: This I like. An all-in card. Possibly a bit too strong. Remove haste and/or trample? A- bloodyspasm: I really like the alternate cost thing, but must admit I hate the casting cost. It really combos with Sanity Grinding, though. A feeling makes me think this card is breakable (free 8/8s!) B+ Bpy6: A vastly improved counterspell! Blue mages would wet their pants if this was printed. Obviously unprintable by today's standards, but hardly overpowered in eternal formats. For that reason I find it hard to judge. A compromise it is B yareg: I like the flavor. Cost seems fair. A- diiimka: Again, I hate costs like this. Also, this creature has the (unintentional?) ability to duplicate itself at an exponential rate. Couple that with the flash and lord abilities, and things will get out of hand quickly. Simply too powerful. C- The Motley Fool: Thumbs up. Ability definitely feels green. Don't know if flavor feels squirrel'y, though, more like wasps/bees. Powerlevel is ok too, I think. A-
Three cards stood out: Ni3 kan4 zhe4ge ju1zi ma?'s, yareg's and The Motley Fool's. After careful consideration I declare Ni3 kan4 zhe4ge ju1zi ma? as winner. Congratulations!
I suppose I agree with the consensus, despite the fact that you really just can't give black what was suggested (no real drawback to drawing another card.) It is an underpowered card, perhaps one mana instead?
Ni3 kan4 zhe4ge ju1zi ma? has a pretty cool card, but I would have made him lose were I the judge on account of his horrible choice of a username
Thanks

Make a card with this ability in the text box:

I've struggled with a card like this myself, and just couldn't come up with anything I thought would be fair at all. You choose the type of countersl; however you wish to apply it.
