"Here only miracles. Here, only the rising of spirit. And yes, love if it was pertinent (which it was so often); and sometimes bloodletting. But never the prosaic, never the trivial. Here the man who brought the strangest tale was the most welcome. Here every excess was celebrated if it brought visions, and every vision analyzed for the hints it held to the nature of the Everlasting." - Clive Barker's Imajica

Disastrous News1UB
Instant (U)
As an additional cost to Disastrous News, discard X cards.
Shuffle target player's library. That player names a card type and reveals the top card of his or her library. If it's the revealed type, that player puts X cards from his or her hand on top of his or her library.
It messes up your mind basically.
IIW: 5CC
Seems a little weak. Not only do I have to discard X cards, there's only a slim chance that they'll have to do the same. Plus it's convoluted.
3
Death Will1BG
Enchantment
Whenever a creature you control dies, put a +1/+1 counter on another target creature you control. And the estate goes to...
Flavor text doesn't match up to the name. But I like the rest of it. Good with creature pumps. Might be a bit UP.
4
Futility1WB
Enchantment-Aura {R}
Enchant Creature
Prevent all damage enchanted creature would deal. It's activated abiltiies cannot be activated and its triggered abilities do not trigger.
Whenever Futility is removed from a creature, its controller sacrifices it. "Consider for a moment, your own existance. Try to imagine the vast weight of importance that you hold to all those around you. You can't? That makes sense."
This is a cool card dude. Pacifism seems like too little for ya? Plop this sucker down. Excellent removal card with great flavor.
5
Endless Warfare 2RR
Enchantment {R}
All creatures must attack if able.
All creatures must block if able.
At the end of turn, each player sacrifices each creature he or she controls that didn't enter the battlefield this turn and didn't attack or block.
This is a sexy card that can shut down control decks quite easily. Great with a splash of green. I like it. Wish it had had flavor text.
4
Wounded Pride2WW Enchantment - Aura
Enchant creature
Enchanted creature loses all abilities and becomes 0/1. There wasn't enough booze in the world to drown Cal's sorrows.
Honestly this would have been okay at 3 cmc, perhaps even 2 at WW and rare. I don't think I'd ever play this at four cmc when there are better removals out there. I like the flavor though.
3.5
Deathly Fumes2BBB
World Enchantment {R}
Creatures on the battlefield lose all abilities and are 2/2 black zombies.
When a creature dies, exile it.
3, Exile a creature card from your graveyard: Put a 2/2 black zombie token into play. Any player may activate this ability.
"What was originally invented as a cure. Turned into one of the most potent toxins ever developed."
I am Legend? The second ability seems unnecessary. Everything else seems alright. I think you could have had a better take on this concept though.
3
@TransmutationOrchestra: Read "Morreion" by Jack Vance.
Tearjerker3BB
Creature - Elemental (U)
When Tearjerker enters the battlefield, target player sacrifices the creature with the greatest power he or she controls.
Evoke 1B
"Big boys don't cry, big boys die!" - Goblin Auntie
No P/T makes ME cry. I like the concept though, though the evoke cost makes me wonder if it's balanced enough. Still, great concept and flavor.
3.5
Tears for a child1BW
Sorcery (U)
Destroy target creature with power 1 or less. It's controller taps all other creatures he or she controls and skips his or her next untap step. "When sadness strikes, it leaves you stumbling."
Sleep is blue and this is too powerful (at 3 cmc). Good flavor and execution.

Shroud 2UU,T: Gain control of target creature as long as you control Bond Breaker.
1/1 "Friend, comrade, lover, family... when I get into their heads,these words will mean nothing to them."
Seems to me like a card inspired by the passion of reality =*(
I can feel the flavor pouring out of this card. It's quite cool. I'm going to say that this is balanced.

I feel as though this breaks quite a few rules. If it can't control it and you are not controllling it at a certain time, what happens? Headache aside, I like GG Crono's execution of this concept better.
2

Asmoranomardicadaistinaculdacar was a wizard who summoned a Lord of the Pit named Vincent but was unable to repay him, so she had to work for him as a chef for seven years and seven days. She wrote The Underworld Cookbook and had twenty copies made. Because only two copies sold in five months, she ordered two imps to burn the remaining copies. However, the line to the incinerator was too long, so they instead used a garbage chute that led to the overworld.

I'll do the judge thing tomorrow morning. If you still wanna get in on this, do it now.
@Brofaux: I like this, it looks like something that might have seen print. Clever text too! A.
@bloodyspasm: Neat little thing. B.
@Summon_Legend: Not bad. C+.
@TransmutionOrchestra: Also not bad. C+.
@Red_Death01: Disqualified for not meeting the criteria of the challenge.
@Prophylaxis: Eheheh...nice "flavor". B-.
@Ninja Caterpie: That text made me smile. Nice work. A+.
@void_nothing: Effective and flavorful! A+.
@Daiches: Nice use of the licid effect, and good flavor text to go with it. Clever name too. A.
@Lucid: There's no such creature type as "Food" in non-Un sets, so lost points for that. Interesting mechanic, though. D+.
And the winner is...
With honorable mention, Ninja Caterpie! It was a tough call.
Next challenge, as dictated by VN's iiw: Catacombs and necropoles.
