Hello, and welcome to May's Club Flamingo game! This month will be yet another month of innovation; players will not compete against each other, but with each other, to explore and ultimately defeat the dastardly death trap known as the Labyrinth!
The Adventurers' Guildhouse
So where do you begin? Right here! To join the contest, all you need to do is organize yourselves into teams of 2-4, then post your team name, members and roles in Bold Blue, and you'll be added to the queue. This thread will be free for anyone to post in, facilitating organization, and will be open for new teams for the entire duration of the game.
Please don't post in bold blue until your entire team has been finalized.
Once the contest starts, you'll be guided from the Guildhouse to one the Labyrinth's four starting gates. Once there, your guide will tell your more about the Labyrinth's rules, and the game will truly begin!
Preemptive blanket warning:
This is just a game. Don't get butthurt and don't start fighting. I don't want to pull the plug on this, but I will if people can't be mature.
Not directed at anybody, but yewlas's comment made me realize there could be a possibility for some bad feelings. Worse comes to worst, we will assign teams. Everybody will get a chance.
Note: I'm not available as I am helping Oculus run this game.

I don't anticipate it coming up at all. However, I wanted it to be said.
I'll just add to that that if you see someone in the thread without a team, try to include them regardless of who they are. Some people may want to avoid going in with others due to their inexperience, but remember that this is a team contest - and as such, I will not only allow, but encourage you all helping each other when designing your entries (within reason - try not to take the fun out of it for others by making the cards for them).
Please don't post in bold blue until your entire team has been finalized.
This is not so important right now, but once the Labyrinth starts I don't want teams to be put up only to find they're still scrambling to sort out their roles or fill their team.
I would love to be in this lovely contest on whatever team will take me. I'll take any role but Warlock, though I have a preference for Auramancer/Artificer.
We could pair off and start the beginning of a team... I prefer Taskmage, so if you're up for it then you can take Auramancer/Artificer, then we just need to find the other one and a Warlock.
What are you talking about? We're adults making fake cards for a fantasy card game, then making games for making fake cards. That's not obsessed, that's...I don't know where I was going with this

Roles: Each team member chooses one of these. You cannot have more than one of a certain role in the same team
- Druid - You can only design creatures and lands.
- Auramancer/Artificer - You can only design noncreature artifacts and enchantments.
- Warlock - You can only design instants and sorceries.
- Taskmage - You can only design spells with converted mana cost 2 or less.
