Hey, you forgot to put me on the poll, and I voted on 7/7/08.
Aw man, I liked my card today, too.
If there is a way to edit the poll, I do not know it. I edited the OP and said that if anyone wants to vote for you to just say they do. I (or whoever posts tomorrow) will add in those votes.
How was GetItWrong's card supposed to be interpreted:

Put target creature into its owner's library, X cards from the top.
"I will crush you into--" the barbarian screamed, then disappeared. The general turned to his wizard. "About how long until we hear the end of that sentence?" he asked.
Does that mean that you put the card in the library with X cards on top of it? I was looking at Long-Term Plans and it uses the language of "third from the top" rather than "3 cards from the top". My problem would be what happens if X=0? And, given that, what happens when X=1?
Nightmare Spirit Creature - Spirit If ~ is in a player's hand and that player’s hand is revealed, that player plays with his or her hand revealed. At the beginning of ~'s owner's upkeep, if ~ is in a player's hand, that player discards a card other than ~. : Target player reveals his or her hand, put ~ into that player's hand. It insinuates itself into the host’s mind, endlessly feeding upon his fears unless the host has the will to bring it under his control. 1/1
I'm afraid the :sym2b::sym2b: in the mana cost and the in the cost of the activated ability did not copy, could you rectify this please. The code is :sym2b*: (without the asterisk) on the off chance you did not know it.

II had no way of knowing what was supposed to come before that ':'.
Looking at the code of your post, it does show "[B][/B*]: Target player reveals his or her hand, put ~ into that player's hand.[/FONT*][/COLOR*]" before the ':'.
About Yare's card: is my opponent supposed to know which card I removed from hand? the card doesn't say that, but makes sense (otherwise, is almost a draw 2 cards.)

Yeah, when a card is removed from the game, it is revealed to all players. I fussed and fumed about how to word this card so that it made sense but wasn't too wordy. Basically, I want to do a three card monty with the card.
Could someone give me some comments on any of my recent cards? Cause I see nothing wrong with them (maybe there are slight wording issues to make them perfect, but still). I try to keep it flavorful, different colors and different parts of the color pie, different aspects of the game, and nobody seems to like em much (case and point Torch Flames, my first card of this month, I loved so much when I first created a slightly different version of it I saved it on my computer for a week so I wouldn't forget it, saving it for the first July DCC, and it got 0 votes).
orgolove, your card today. When you play it, you get another card of the same name, which gets another card, and another. So of 3B you get 4 power worth of flying into play. All of which have the ability to clone themselves. Was that intentional?
Well. I did not like it because it grows exponentially. They need to have some kinda mass removal or mass damage spell or they will just lose.
You go on the defensive with them at first. Blocking and using their ability after damage is on the stack. But on turn 5 (assuming no mana ramping) you have 8 power worth of guys, and then on turn 6 you have 14..... and so on.... (and you could easy chump with them for a bit, or even gang block and kill stuff, using their ability after damage)
Basically when you cast this guy, unless they have a wrath or firespout type card, its GG.
Seemed a bit much to me. But I do like the concept of the card.
That being said, I'm just curious: do people feel that the cards I've designed are too broken, plain, balanced, unique, etc? Personally, I thought a lot of them showed interesting places, but nothing specific really caught anyone's eyes...was it just a bad day? ._.
Heh, that's the extent of my discussion thusfar this month.
Over and over......

Can anyone pull some strings and get this thread sticked? I got no insiders in the mod guild.

I really like my card today(I do not always like my own cards, as I have said before) I am glade its getting some votes.
I did not like the wording. I tend to not vote for cards if they do not have good wording.
= symwu with ":" on both sides of it.

"Defending creature have trample." is the stupidest life of rules text I think I have ever written.

4 1/1s for 3C is not unheard of. That they're all 1/1s make it all that easier to deal with them.
Besides, you have to run all 4 of them and only have 1 of them in hand to take full advantage of that ability.
I thought those abilities best represented the idea of a "locust swarm."
But as I said before, people apparently didn't like the idea. Oh well.
If I could fix it, I would take away flying, and name it "Swarm of Worms" or something.

I tried a card like it a while ago:

My buddy tried it before that, it was basically the same as my red one there, but did 1 damage to you instead.
The day's nearly over, and the thread's still not stickied==less votes, less cards.

Clearly I need mod powers so I can remedy this problem.
