Cool, but what do you mean for a combo? Something good and repeatable, or something that goes infinite? Does the combo have to kill your opponent?

Thanks mzc87! Good luck to Monkey
Can you explain the combo again quickly? Doesn't the shapeshifter need to be a copy of the opponent's creature already when the artifact makes a token?
My combo is just to load up your opponent's things with counters that they can't pay for. Once you have enough of an advantage, you can actually keep the counters on Allandra and the enchantments can beat down for you, or if you get her out first you can use her to find the pieces. The Recombination Field works well for a lot of the stuff in my previous cards as well.
You have the Demon and another creature. At the beginning of your upkeep, put a copy of the Demon onto the battlefield. Stack the trigger of the Erasure and sacrifice the other creature changing the newcomer token to a copy of an opponent's creature. The trigger resolves and you exile your opponent's creature. Next turn do it again but sac this same token for the next Demon-copy.
This should be the longest CCL ever! :s And very weak in my opinion. There were little or no backstory and, as host, I don't believe mzc87 have done a good job. I don't wanna be too harsh, but, of all CCLs I ever played/seen, this one upset me.
By the way, I went ahead and voted for you, Monkey.
It can be tough to host, and I'm sure mzc has learned from the experience. It didn't help that the players, including me, were late quite a bit.
Sure, nobody born thought. I'm sure if it was me it would be like this or worse. But criticism should be always faced positively, right? =)
It should be, but unless you can point out the constructive aspect in your criticism, then it's mostly just negative.

I made at least two points. The first of all was the little backstory through the month. CCL is a game that needs a lot of history/flavor; otherwise, the challenges will just seem loose. To keep it interesting it needs connection, the glue to tie it all.
The second point was about it lasted two months. However, as GM said, it can't be all mzc87's fault. It would be unfair to state that, indeed. All we know that a lot of times real life steps above this deadlines. As mzc87 was late at some challenges, so were some players.
I never hosted a CCL, and these are the two main reasons too. First I suck at flavoring and creative writing. As much I'd like to run a CCL, I feel I wouldn't be able to make it appealing. Secondly, I rarely have time to accomplish the challenges, so being present as host would be hard too.

And that would have been constructive criticism. Short and simple generally works well (don't get me wrong), but often comes off as brash/harsh on any forum.
And yes, I know CCLs are always flavor/story driven. Host a CCL. I have no problem coming up with something for ya. LOL
Just want to point out that someone with no posts that hasn't even had an account here for a month yet voted, and this time, no one mentioned it...

Each account seems to have been created for the sole purpose of voting for you; none have ever participated in any other aspect of MTGS before, let alone the CCL or Card Creation forums at large.
I can't see how or why they would have possibly voted for GM.
This.

It's true, indeed, but the account was created at the beginning of the month. It should be a heck of plan!
