I often enjoy your entries, GIW. The choices built into this are interesting, and makes a player's skill more important. When I said fog, it didn't have to be a green fog. Green against red makes sense to me, in the way that wood burns, though that's red over green not the other way around. If the prevention cost was blue or especially white it might have made more sense, the enemy color shutting it down.

A hefty wall. Truly, it stands tall as the wall of all walls. Can still be taken down by deathtouch. Costs six, is quite effective at shutting down my opponent's attacks... Reliable repeatable fog is something risky to add to the game, and might make it less fun. At six mana though the risk is reduced. And there are ways to counter it of course, like evasion. So, a good entry.

I don't care for creatures with forced attacking abilities, taking away the player's choices, it's just an automaton. What are the odds the opponent won't at least have a Merfolk of the Pearl Trident to step me in my tracks.

I appreciate your take on the challenge, I'm glad you decided to "push" it. Green dealing damage like this is pretty "old school," but I'm okay with that in moderation. This is probably just a tad too punishing though. The idea of a fog effect is here, but not in the timing of the trap's trigger. I prefer this over the other fog-creatures here because it's not repeatable for turn after turn after turn. The flash makes it interesting as well, this fellow has multiple applications. Okay so
'Twas difficult to choose but GetItWrong gets it becuase I was looking for something creative most of all and the Unstable Pathogenhad the most unique concept going for it there.
I actually changed my entry BECAUSE the power level was too strong. My friend said it'd be a 1cc 3/3 wall that can attack whenever you're opponent doesn't have a blocker. I mean, you would never swing with it if they had a blocker. It'd be played in every format methinks if it DIDN'T have the attack each turn clause.

A very logical way to respond to the challenge. The nested contingencies here--you need a good handsize despite the drawback, plus instants, plus your opponent needs instants, plus she can't be able to unload them in response to the trigger, plus random chance has to work--seem to make the card too weak to justify its complexity. I am intrigued by the idea that the drawback could help protect against your opponent's own Embezzle effects.

Very clever! A hellbent card in slight disguise, this gives you a huge benefit if you have two or fewer cards in hand and your opponent does not. Great flavortext. The card is fun, in a warped sort of way. An interesting finisher in a control deck. You can splash and into an Island-heavy deck fairly easily via duals and non-land fixers, but it's essentially a 9-mana card if you want to win with it, so it's certainly not overpowered. I'm not sure I like it being an instant when the abilities it grants are attack-oriented...and why do you need haste? Heh. A definitely stretch as far as names go (the challenge's fault more than yours). This seems a bit too easy to break: several landfall cards come to mind (wait until a creature goes unblocked before casting this, then give it +2/+2 for each land in your deck, or +4/+4 and trample, etc.). Too powerful, and inevitably ending the game on turn 4 isn't fun.

Each player may bid life. You start the bidding with a bid of any number. In turn order, each player may top the high bid. The bidding ends if the high bid stands. The high bidder loses life equal to the high bid and puts a black horror creature token with flying and trample onto the battlefield. Its power and toughness are each equal to amount of life lost this way.
So I decided on this...
Atrocious Acquisition3BBB
Sorcery (R)
Each player loses 3 life. Then, put a black horror creature token with flying and trample onto the battlefield under control of the player with the least life. Its power and toughness are each equal to amount of life lost this way. If two or more players are tied for the least life, you choose one of them.
Originally it was 5 life but GAWD, imagine that in Two Headed Giant...
"Hey, buddy, you've taken the most damage so far, right? Here's a Marit Lage token!"
I might change this later...it seems life a fun multiplayer card but maybe not political...except maybe as a "you know I have this card in my deck so if you want to kill me, drop me to 3 before turn six, lol...
Er, Wow. I honestly didn't expect that to win because of the whole "awkward design for discard decks" like you stated, so I switched it around at the last second to fix that. But thanks anyway.
Kenshi: Political can be a number of things. Propaganda, Dread, No Mercy are examples of "back off from me, and I won't do anything to you." Cards like Avarice Totem and Jinxed Idol are also political cards and even things like Guided Passage to pick a "friend" of yours to pick the cards you wanted so much.
Even cards that simply work in Multiplayer are political, weather they get "hate" or not, examples would be Syphon Mind, Blood Tyrant, . You know, stuff that's good in Multiplayer, and can help the table, or tick them off, or both.
I'm rating based on how the card fits in Multiplayer battles, and how well it can stand on its own. It doesn't matter if you make a card that you make a card that is hated or loved in a Multiplayer group, you need to illustrate why you should run it for those reasons.
Tournament of the PrimesWUBRG

When ~ enters the battlefield, each player may search his or her library for a creature card and put it into play. Those creatures are champion creatures in addition to their other types and they gain "This creature cannot be the target of spell's or abilities your opponents control.". As long as ~ is on the battlefield, only those creatures may attack or block .
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, if that player is the only player to control a champion creature, that player wins the game.
"Champion" is a supertype that does nothing else but differentiate that creature from another creature on the 'field.
If ~ leaves the battlefield, any creature may attack or block.
At the beginning of each player's upkeep, this card checks to see whether that player controls a champion creature. If he does, then it checks to see if anyone else does. If no one else does, that player wins.
I have always liked tournaments. This card is a distinctly multiplayer card in that it provides everyone with a fair win-con (except for those who don't run creatures in their deck, of course). People will most likely be ambivalent to it, except they will beat up on the white decks because of their propensity to "wrath" the board but his or her creature.
