Defender
Inspire 2W(You may pay 2W and exile this card inspiring target creature anytime you can play a sorcery. Inspired creature gain all abilities of this card. When inspired creature leaves the battlefield, put this card onto the battlefield.)

So far we've seen sets inspired by Russian, Arabian, European, Japanese and Chinese lore. If I win, make me a card that would fit in an Indian themed set (Indian as in from India, not Native American).
Souls of the Humble1W
Creature - Spirit (R)
Defender

Valakut Moss1G
Creature - Plant Wall (U)
Defender
When Valakut Moss enters the battlefield, you may put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield under your control tapped. If this land is mountain, Valakut Moss deals 2 damage to target creature or player.

Well, i guess the use can be rather narrow, but rewarding, huh?
Four-Legged Damnation
Land Creature - Rat (Uncommon Rare)
:xmana:: Four-Legged Damnation deals X damage to each other creature and each player. Tap Four-Legged Damnation and remove it from combat.
1/1 Beware anything born among the land where scavengers nest in hollowed out rib-cages and chittering crawlers peer from empty eye sockets.
Kensei (Æther Conveyor)
Here's how this is going to go. You're going to wait for them to swing with a bunch of guys, then drop this, block them all, draw 5 cards and kill at least one of them, and laugh forever. Alternatively, you could just play spells that matter.
CrimsonCrossfire (Advancing Phalanx)
Good wall. Beasts nearly any x/3. Can attack when needed. Gets bigger. Uncommon is probably fine.
EBB (Grave of Reeds)
"Pay 3 life: Kill target creature" is a good ability. That's what this says. I mean, it also says "pay 6 life: kill target creature." and "pay 9 life." You see what I'm going for. Of course, paying 9 life to kill a guy isn't so good... Anyway, it's ok.
DemigodofRevenge (Moving Graveyard)
Too efficient.
Brofaux (Guard Tower)
Brofaux, activated abilities can be activated at instant speed by default. 5 power first striker that makes it impossible to play x/2 guys is pretty powerful.
Asrama (Emblem Barrier)
Horned Turtle + uh... a bad guard duty. Oh, not a bad guard duty. You get your guy back when the defender guy dies.
Morguloth (Defensive Formation)
The next in the line of unstoppable walls. This actually steps into unfun territory for me.
Kev the Walker (Souls of the Humble)
Like a reverse Drop of Honey. Like a Topple every turn. And that spell costs three mana. Wretched Banquet costs only one.
Caesarius (Construction Warf)
I got scared until I realized this card is useless.
Bpy6 (Valakut Moss)
Does moss grow on volcanos? Who knows (not me). I like this. 2cc acceleration + potential shock? My only concern is that it might be over the curve.
Winner: Bpy6. Challenge: design a good land without mana ability.
I really like this WIJ format. Kudos to Crimson Crossfire
Contagious X (Whenever this creature deals combat damage to a player, you may put a contagion counter on target creature that player controls. At the beginning of each players upkeep, if that player controls a creature with a contagion counter, that player must put a contagion counter on creature he or she controls that does not have any contagion counters, then that player loses X life for each contagion counter among creatures he or she controls)
IIW
Make a legendary creature into a planeswalker. This preferably would be a legend that is very dear to you in it's own special way. Also the planeswalker's abilities MUST be the epitome of what the creature does and stands for, both in flavor and mechanics.

Also, It's nice to have a set template for judging so that you know ahead of time on what general basis you entry will be judged. Also having more WIJ threads generally decreases the number of posts on each thread making them all run more smoothly.

Yeah, and as I've previously said, this "enforced time limit" is BS. What are you going to do, hunt down the judge and make him judge it? If the judge isn't gonna judge, there's nothing you can do, either we wait or someone else judges, or reset.
There's already a time limit on all the games. It might be unsaid and unnofficial, but 2 days is the generally accepted limit.
Also, It's nice to have a set template for judging so that you know ahead of time on what general basis you entry will be judged.
Yeah... that template hasn't been used on the judgings here except once.

Brofaux, all I know is that we've had 3 contests since this thread was started. 3 in FOUR days. All the other contests I've been in have taken 3 -4 days, minimum, for the contest to be presented THEN judged. These have done it all in about a day and a half, tops. That's all I care about: More contests and faster judging.
