Looks clunky but fun. Here's a new mechanic which is essentially the opposite of protection:
New mechanic - Weakness to <quality> (If this permanent becomes the target of a <quality> spell or ability, or is dealt damage by a <quality> source, sacrifice it. It cannot block <quality> creatures or target <quality> permanents.)
Next: Make a creature with Weakness and Protection.

When reviewing custom cards / sets, I look for (a) flavour, (b) function, and (c) cohesiveness, generally through a risk focus.
This is going to be tough.. but the creature one is easy if both abilities didn't contradict each other.

Looks clunky but fun. Here's a new mechanic which is essentially the opposite of protection:
New mechanic - Weakness to <quality> (If this permanent becomes the target of a <quality> spell or ability, or is dealt damage by a <quality> source, sacrifice it. It cannot block <quality> creatures or target <quality> permanents.)
