Welcome to a new card creation game. Well, not really, because I've done this game a long time ago... making it before the similar Legend Evolution. Anyways, here is how Creating an Epic works, with examples:
I will write a short segment of a story.
Example:
Tork the goblin was surprisingly intelligent, wielding powerful magic. Sadly, this was deemed un-Goblin like, and so he is banished to the plains.
Afterwards, I will post a card that is related to what just happened in the story. Flavor text greatly helps:
Example:
Tork, Goblin Genius :2mana::symu::symr:
Legendary Creature- Goblin Wizard
:symtap:: Draw a card and reveal it. If it was a mountain, ~ deals one damage to target creature.
:symtap:: ~ deals one damage to target creature or player. "Knowledge of magic grants one great insight to the inner fire of magic..."--Tork, Goblin Genius, right before he was banished
Then, the next person will continue the story in anyway they wish and create their own card for their section. You can write it anyway you wish, but try to stick to the summarizing style of the Legend Evolution or the dialogue/normal book way. Oh, and don't make a new legend card for a character unless he drastically changes. This is a big difference from the Legend Evolution...
Edit: Forgot to add this rule: In order to add onto a story, you must have read the WHOLE story. Thank you.
Anyway, have fun! Anyone may start now... If there isn't a post for a while, I will make the first part..
Ok, I'm interperting that we don't need to make a legend card... just one that tells the story about the legend, so if I'm wrong... sorry.
Edit: Alright, sweet game meteo63. Nice twist on the classic. Even though this came first...sorta.
**Story**
Tork, having lived his entire life in the mountains with the rest of his kin was quite unused to having to care for himself completely, do the cooking, do the hunting, and fight with himself, so after about a week, he was about ready to interact with, when he came across a small chicken like desert animal called a Bokwoo, which he tamed by feeding it small scraps of meat from his fire.

Yep. Correct. You write the story about the character and you can actually expand in many different ways.
***Story***
After naming the creature Bokwoo, Tork taught the creature to help him hunt. Overtime, the Bokwoo grew larger, into a fully grown Desert Chicken, a fearsome creature.
Tork survived quite well with Bokwoo's help, but one day, poachers came and captured Bokwoo. Tork was horrified, because Bokwoo was his only friend. Tork pursued the poachers to their deadly swamp.

Unfortunately, the poachers' leader was adept in dark magics, and had twisted Bokwoo with black mana, turning the chicken into a powerful monster even more dangerous than before. With the monstrosity at their command, they would be unstoppable!
Luckily for Tork, Bokwoo's personality hadn't been altered, and by the time he arrived the desert chicken was waiting patiently for him atop the dessicated remains of its captors.

"Hey, what are you doing in here?!" demanded the angry sailor. "Stupid goblin, what do you think you're doing?"
Tork had no reply to this. The irate sailor had just discovered the goblin and his loyal bird companion in the hold. "Erm, well..." began Tork, Bokwoo chirping encouragingly.
"I'm sure you have no suitable explaination, then, seeing as you are a dumb goblin," continued the sailor, whipping out a sword. "Hey!" he shouted up to the deck. "We've got some prisoners in here!"
"Oh no..." muttered Tork. "Pirates!"
"That's right!" grinned the pirate, pointing his sword at Tork.

The pirate lifted his sword, preparing to strike at Tork. Tork, scared as anything, dodged out of the way. The pirate's sword came clanging down, striking the cargo Tork and Bokwoo had been hiding amongst.
Unfortunately for the pirate, that cargo happened to contain, amongst other things, knives and blades bound for Ruidem. The pirate's blade struck a blade, sending it into his throat. The pirate collapsed, blood pouring from the mortal wound. Tork gulped, surely this would spell doom for him and his beloved chicken monstrosity.
However, fate had other plans. The noise had attracted the rest of the pirate crew, who on seeing their toughest (and most oppressive) captain dead, assumed that only a mighty warrior could have slain him. They presented Tork with the captain's hat, and offered him the position of Pirate Captain.

Now, Tork was a smart goblin and of course accepted the position; otherwise he might doom himself to walking the plank. But he also knew what pirates did: they would raid and steal from villages, with innocent people. Tork decided to play a trick on them, to give them what they deserved.
Tork had used some small magic before, but he had never attacked anything other than the wild pigs that lived in the mountains. Still, he had surprising knowledge of magic. With some help from his little magic guide book, Tork created a storm centered around the ship.
"Captain!" cried a pirate lackey. "Big storm coming up!"
"Oh no, we're headed to a reef!" yelled Tork, all part of the plan. At that moment, a great lightning bolt struck the ship, setting it on fire. Tork quickly jumped overboard, laughing at the pirates' defeat. He watched in glee as the burning ship flew forward and crashed into a reef.
"That's what you get for being pirates!" he shouted.

Of course, Tork, while being a genius by goblin standards, still didn't make him the brightest among everyone. So while Bokwoo fluttered overhead, Tork spluttered away in the water attempting to figured out what exactly he was to do now as the water got choppier and choppier around him, excited by the storm. All of a sudden something bumped his leg... then his foot. Tork squealed and pulled away. All of a sudden the creature broke the surface of the water.
'Cheereep!' the dolphin squeeked. Tork, never having seen a dolphin before paddled frantically away from it. The dolphin cocked his head at him then dove under the waves and came up beneath him, and carried the wailing Tork along for the ride while Bokwoo soared above their heads.

The dolphin made another squeak after sometime. Tork realized what it was trying to say: "Land ho!"
The storm began to subside and the sun emerged, glittering brightly across the waves. Tork and his two animal companions looked up at the huge castle-like building that loomed over the island. The dolphin "parked" itself at the beach and Tork tumbled onto land, Bokwoo following him.
"Eh? A goblin?" asked a strangely robed man standing nearby.
"Yes... uh, sir!" Tork thought this man looked dangerous, so he didn't want to offend him.
"Sir? Well, aren't you an polite goblin! Smarter than average, for sure! And who are your friends?"
"This is Bokwoo, a desert chicken. But then these necromancers made him into this... Oh, and what is that!?" Tork pointed at the dolphin.
The old man laughed. "That is a member of the Atlinteil Tribe of Dolphins. They live underwater."
"Oh... Where is this?" asked Tork.
"This.. This is the Academy of Nath, an mystical school of the Ancients!" exclaimed the wizard.

Tork stood and patted the dolphin on the head as it squeeked and swam off. Bokwoo landed beside Tork and looked indignant to it being ignored.
"Here, come with me, uh, what did you say your name was?"
"Oh.. well, I didn't really, I go by Tork. May I ask who you are?" The old man laughed and shook his head, amazed at the manners the small goblin was showing.
"Well, my good Tork, I go by Gilham, and I happen to be the Headmaster at Nath's academy. You've stumbled into my morning walk where I try to get away from the insanity of it all. Time magic can be quite stressful you see, especially teaching it." He winked and Tork couldn't help but smile. The three continued to walk down the beach until a huge spire rose up above the trees. "There it is Tork, my academy! I'll put you up for the night in one of the empty dorms where you and your... desert chicken you said?" Tork nodded his head, "Ah, yes, well your desert chicken will be left alone, you can rest up as I'm sure you're quite tired after your long ride." Tork smiled weakly, suddenly feeling the days events weigh heavily on him.

The night was silent. The moon, its face shining brightly, looked down upon the blue walls of the academy. And an assassin in a dark cloak scaled the walls of the castle ever so slowly.
Nearing a window, the assassin peered within at his victim: a long time foe of the assassin's order, Gilham the Headmaster. The assassin whipped out a thin blade and sliced neatly the window out. Clambering inside, the assassin gave a silent grin as he crept up on his enemy.
Summoning all his power, the assassin drew two enormous, magical swords out of the void. These hovered above the old headmaster and was about to dive into his body when....
"Aha!" shouted a voice behind the assassin. Gilham. Gilham?! The puzzled assassin stared in surprise, his swords forgotten. Gilham raised a hand and his sleeping doppleganger vanished. At the same time, the assassin froze, Gilham's magic freezing in a block of ice.
He snapped his fingers again and the assassin's face was thawed out. "Now," said Gilham, "what did you want from me?

"Who hired you?" Gilham asked
"I don't know, he never met face to face, I just got letters..."
Gilham sighed, "Very well, but what did you want with Tork?"
"Apparently he was an experiment, in increasing intelligence in the more stupid species, but then he was exiled before my hirer could recover him for more experiments."
"Yes, well go back and tell your imployer that Tork is now under my protection, and you're not to attempt to retreive him again, for if you or anyone else return, I will kill them personally. Now go!" Gilham thawed the ice and put up a warp portal around the Assassin that sent him back to the main land where he proptly reappeared in the middle of a tavern and landed in the middle of a table and sent a group of rather burly men's drinks scattering. "You are the best, are you not, Agent Colorn?" asked the black shadow.
"Uh, yes, my lord, of course," replied the assassin, his eyes black and his arms and legs badly wrecked. Blood dribbled down his chest.

"The old man is powerful, my lord! I could not--"
"That Gilham may be strong, but he is no match for our next project!" roared the shadow. Two bright lights turned on instantly, revealing a suit of armor. "This piece of armor grants one power ten times that of their normal strength. However, it can never be removed!"
"I'll do it," cried Colorn eagerly, running to the suit, where two technicians began to help him assemble it.

The evening light spread thinly across the sky, as Colorn headed to the etherworld portal that lead through the realm of shadows, where his superior--that shadow from before--used to dwell. From that dimension, one would easily be able to pass through another portal to another destination: in this case, the Islands of Nath.
Colorn smiled grimly, as he marched through the catacombs. This mission must have been important to his master for it to be entrusted to him. Or did he simply want him out of the way?
"Ehehe! So here you are!" giggled a playful voice from behind him.
"Oh.. Widam!" shouted Colorn, turning around. A strange shadow creature hovered there, waving at him. "I've found you! The master has wished to capture you for sometime now! C'mon now."

It was Colorn who lost focus first and blinked and in that blink, Widam released a blast of enermy from her arms directly at the center of Colorns chest. Colorn opened his eyes in time to dodge to the side but the energy passed so close it blew him off balance. Colorn still manage to grab a throwing knife and huck it towards Widam.
Or at least where Widam had been. The knife whistled through thin air as Widam, who had been flanking Colorn from the moment she threw the energy, threw herself into Colorns side, throwing him to the ground. Colorn threw himself into a roll and came up facing Widam.
Widam was already charging full out at Colorn. Colorn just grinned and as Widam got closer, he planted his hand on the top of Widams head and pushed her to the right and down while he stepped to the left.
To say the least Widam did a faceplant. A really hard and fast faceplant.

@Cypher: No, we never "choose" a single legend to follow. At any time, you may introduce a new character and simutaneously follow other legends. In fact, don't ever think about the game in that way, because the idea is that we make a story and then cards for the story, not for legends. Get it?
"You are under arrest, Colorn," said a guard, seizing him as he stepped off the ship.
"Under what charges?" Colorn replied innocently.
"Threatening the headmaster and conspiring to kidnap a goblin," the guard answered in kind.
"Very well, but let me meet the headmaster. Now."
"I am here already," came Gilham's voice. "I suppose you didn't think about what I said. You came back?"
"Yes, and I will defeat you and take the goblin!" demanded Colorn angrily. He charged forward, raised a sword and stabbed it toward Gilham, who merely sidestepped it. Colorn was immediately blasted by a bolt of lightning from Tork, who stood nearby. Stunned, Colorn fell to the ground and Gilham sadly stabbed him in the chest with an icicle that he summoned forth from his hands.
"Is it finished? Will I be safe now?" asked Tork.
"No... Zorruk will send more to capture you, for you were one of his organization's experiments," explained Gilham. "Hmm, we must take him down from the inside. Quick, Tork! We must head through the shadow portals! The people of the shadow realm are my allies and they will help us find Zorruk."
"Wonderful," interrupted a voice. Widam's. "I heard you. C'mon, I'll show the portal to you." In the shadow warrior's palm, there appeared a small crystal, which immediately enlarged and grew into a portal. "Shadow crystal technology. Lovely, huh?"

Widam reassured and gestured into the portal, "See I'll go first" she added as she stepped through the gate. Bokwoo chirruped sniffed it then fluttered his way through with a 'BOKBOK'.
Tork shrugged and looked up at Gilham "If it's good enough for Bokwoo, it's good enough for me. He conceded as he stepped through. Gilham smiled and strode in after him. The quartet found themselves standing in a large chamber that seemed to be out of shift with the rest of the world.

"Pirates!"

Story:
C'mon now."
"Do you really think I will permit you... Outlanders to invade our shadow realm like that?" Widam shouted, her arms charging with energy.

Widam was already charging full out at Colorn. Colorn just grinned and as Widam got closer, he planted his hand on the top of Widams head and pushed her to the right and down while he stepped to the left.
To say the least Widam did a faceplant. A really hard and fast faceplant.
