Sudden Death Contest
Welcom to my first contest. It's quite simple: Ten players; One judge; One winner.
Here's how it goes: At the begining of each round each contestant submits a card according to the round's requierments. After all the cards have been submitted, the judge chooses the worst card and the contestant who submitted it is eliminated, until the last contestant prevails.
You might think that the judge is going to have a hard work, judging ten cards, right? well no. The judge doesn't have to explain anything excpet why he chose to eliminate the given cards. He can leave the rest of the cards uncritiqued if he wishes to.
Now, first ten contestants to sign in and the first judge to sign in are in the contest.
Go!
Asking out a girl is like trying to cast a first turn Necropotence. Sometimes the other player will have the Force of Will to say no. You shouldn't let that stop you from trying it.
To him,
Nothing has worth
Unless it belongs
To someone else.
It is not the lust for wealth
That drives him
Simply the hunter's thrill,
And the moment
Of acquisition.
Nothing is truly your own.
It is his –
Whether you know it or not.

Meh, what the heck, I'll arbitrarily confuse people judge.
First round will start on... Wednesday, before I head for work (so probably ~5:30am PDT). I'll state any conditions I'm putting on the first-round card at that time.
Rounds will be open for 5 days (so Wed-Sun) and I'll spend Monday afternoon judging, followed by Tuesday afternoon writing up any critiques (I probably will write up one for every card).
Anyone who enters by 8pm PDT on Tuesday will be in. If there's more than 16 entrants, the first few rounds will eliminate the bottom 2 instead of just the bottom 1 (until we reach 11 or 10 remaining contestants).
Currently at 15 people. Any further entries and we open with 2 eliminations in the opening rounds.
Two notes:
* If you fail to enter a card in a round, you're automatically out at that point. (There are two rounds that will run two weeks instead of one - one being the week of and week after Thanksgiving, and one being the week of and week after Christmas. This is mostly due to this decision, as people won't be present for part of at least one of those weeks.)
* If your card, for whatever reason, just flat-out doesn't meet the requirements given for the week (for example, you submit a black enchantment to a green sorcery week)... you will be beaten mercilessly with a dancing banana. And you'll almost definitely be out in addition.
