Land T: Add X mana of any color to your mana pool, where X is the number of different basic land types you control. Target opponent gains X life.
Yeah, several of these cards have templating problems - x target players, x=#of basics in play? Ok, I have 12 swamps, but there's only two legal targets, so I can't use the ability. Or, if it's meant to be X=basic types in play, hm, x=3. Targets available=2... still can't play it.
I like the symmetrical filter, too, but Tyorl's is abuseable without being broken, + easily the most interesting.
Tyorl's suggestion seems to be quite popular, and it is a _very_ good card...so good in fact that it's strictly better than a basic land. Too good. There is no drawback _and_ two abilities.

Thus, I can't vote for Tyorl's suggestion..
I would've liked JohnJones' suggestion if it didn't already basically exist on Rainbow Vale:

Eventually, I saw this as the cleanest, and most useful (without being too good) suggestion of the bunch. Although, this too seems oddly familiar...hopefully, it's just sounding familiar because it's affect is like that of Doubling Cube.

Notes: CR!S!S909's suggestion is way too good.
Snow-Fur's suggestion would get to a situation where it would infinitely be going around the table. Seeing as this appears to be a state-based effect, it might not even give any player a chance to use it and correct the situation. It either needs to switch at end of turn, or counters have to fall off when it switches.

The card would probably have to be legendary to balance this, or have it tap for colourless.
Here is my initial post, I didn't actually make it legendary since the submission was just for rules text, not card type.
