Gerald, Mage of Many Paths GWU
Legendary Creature - Wizard (Mythic Rare)
Ward 2
Whenever a spell or ability you control causes you to choose one, you may choose two instead.
Whenever you cast a spell that is green, white and blue you gain 5 life.

The only knock here is that the second ability doesn’t work in black bordered for the same reason Far Out had to be acorn in Unfinity. Some modal cards like Outlaws’ Merriment are asking for choices to apply to a single object or effect in a way that cannot have multiple selections.
There’s probably a way to template it as a trigger that copies the spell or ability and makes you choose a new mode, so I’ll see if I can write that out when I get to my desktop later.
Edit, you can make it work in black border like this

Ward 2 Whenever you choose a mode for a spell or ability you control that isn't a copy, you may copy that spell or ability. If you do, you must choose a different mode and you may choose new targets.

Oh hell yeah, yeah I was looking at that too with cards similar to Outlaws’ Merriment and was wondering how that would work. Love the wording man, that makes it much cleaner, thanks for the input.

Does it really need to include abilities too? Just slap that on an artifact or something. You'll be opening up even greater play options.
