Sword of Life and Freedom 3
Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from red and from green.
Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, exile the top card of your library. Until the end of your next turn, you may play that card. Until the end of your next turn, you may cast creature spells as thought they have flash and those spells cannot be countered.
Equip 2
Sword of Submission and Death 3
Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from black and from blue.
Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, gain control of target creature or planeswalker with mana value 3 or less that player controls. That creature or planeswalker gains "At the beginning of your end step, sacrifice this card".
Equip 2
Sword of Moon and Night 3
Artifact - Equipment
Equipped creature gets +2/+2 and has protection from black and from blue.
Whenever equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, tap target permanent you don't control and remove all counters from it. That permanent doesn't untap during its controller's next upkeep.
Equip 2
The second one doesn’t work great, because you’ll gain control of the creature and then sacrifice it that turn, so it’s really just “destroy target small thing”. The gain control is good and in color, but the timing of the sacrifice should be delayed longer. Also doesn’t really fit the usual trigger patter of “do a black thing and do a blue thing”
The first one is a lot better, though I think giving the next creature you cast +1/+1 counters would be better than the flash.
Also, the names should use more recognizable couples a la hearth and home, war and peace, feast and famine, etc, though finding fitting pairs is admittedly a difficult task.
EDIT: We’ll, since they went with “Forge and Frontier” that my analysis about finding recognizable couplets is out the window.

I really hated the name tbh, also I find funny that I kinda guessed the impulsive draw part of the sword (sorta), but they got me at the extra land thingy.
That being said with the card already existing, my design becomes obsolete.
Also decided to redesign the other one too, following this un-patron with the names and stuff.
I'd limit what you can target with the new sword, because as written it can auto-kill a planeswalker or lock down a land, both of which are really strong effects for a sword to have. If you either limited it to non-land, non-planeswalker permanents or specified the target as creature or artifact you'd be in good shape.
