Add one new color identity to your commander. (You can only play those cards with this Color identity after you have added the new color to your commander´s color identity.)
Adding a color to any commander would be incredibly powerful in the same way that Partners create balance issues. Since it would have to be in the command zone, it would need a significant drawback to balance. Otherwise you run the danger of it being an "auto-include".
Something along the lines of
Pact of Entropy
(Red color identity) Pact
(You can have one Pact as an additional commander. A Pact cannot be cast or removed it from the command zone.)
As long as CARDNAME is in the command zone, non-creature spells you cast cost 1 more to cast.
Pact of Solidarity
(White color identity) Pact
(You can have one Pact as an additional commander. A Pact cannot be cast or removed it from the command zone.)
As long as CARDNAME is in the command zone, creatures you control have -1/-0.
Pact of Stillness
(Green color identity) Pact
(You can have one Pact as an additional commander. A Pact cannot be cast or removed it from the command zone.)
As long as CARDNAME is in the command zone, lands you control enter the battlefield tapped.
Thats a great idea. Or perhaps, if your commander only have one color, you can add an additional color. I am new, to Magic, and i am currently thinking of building a only green deck, because i like the commanders. But i would really like to have some Black cards as well.
