Since Luxior, Giada's Gift I've been wondering how it's going to impact planeswalkers in commander. The common opinion is that planeswalkers are too fragile against four player games, but I still enjoy them in my commander decks. So in my ponderings I have come up with an idea that could work for some planeswalkers and even allow them to be your commander using some of the technology off of Luxior, Giada's Gift. So here's my idea.
Battle Ready
When this permanent enters the battlefield choose creature or planeswalker. If creature is chosen it enters the battlefield as a creature and not a planeswalker and visa versa. Loyalty abilities can still be used.
Sorin Sanguinmancer 3WB
Legendary Creature Planeswalker - Sorin
Battle Ready
+1 Until your next turn whenever a creature you control deals damage you gain that much life. If that creature has Battle Ready place a loyalty counter on it.
-3 Exile target nonland permanent
-8 Until end of turn, each Vampire and permanents with Battle Ready you control gains “{T}: Gain control of target creature or planeswalker.”
Loyalty 4
4/5
Sarkhan the Fierce RUG
Legendary Creature Planeswalker - Sarkhan
Battle Ready
+1 Until your next turn target creature gains Flying Vigilance and Haste and is a dragon in addition to its other types.
-1 Add Rto your mana pool. If that mana is used to cast a Dragon that spell can’t be countered and you may draw a card.
Loyalty 2
3/3
Oko, Transformation Mage 2UUG
Legendary Creature Planeswalker - Oko
Battle Ready
If Oko enters the battlefield as a creature you may have it enter the battlefield as a copy of a creature or planeswalker you control except it’s name is ~ and has the Oko subtype in addition to it’s other subtypes.
-2 Until Oko leaves play target creature loses all abilities loses all abilities and becomes a green Elk creature with base power and toughness 3/3.
Loyalty 5
3/3
I almost feel like there should be a downside maybe they'd enter play with 2 less loyalty counters if they enter as a creature. I think if we have any ability like this I could see it being in the Phyrexian War set as like a mirror to the compleated keyword. I think it's still a little clunky so any suggestions would be appreciated.

Embrace the dark you call a home,
Gaze upon an empty, white throne
A legacy of lies,
A familiar disguise
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone
Could be worded as:
"You may have this permanent enter the battlefield as a noncreature planeswalker or a nonplaneswalker creature. Loyalty abilities of a creature can still be activated."
I feel like people would more often choose creature, as that makes it so the opponent can't attack it, and nowadays a lot of removal that hits creatures also hits planeswalkers. It's also worth noting that while they aren't planeswalkers, damage doesn't reduce loyalty, and they don't die from having zero loyalty. It's kinda hard to think of an upside for choosing the planeswalker mode.

Battle Ready 2 (As this enters, you may remove 2 loyalty from it. If you do, it's a creature.)
