Divine Hero1WWW Creature — Human Knight
Entangler (This creature may block any number of creatures.)
Protection from black and from red
When Divine Hero attacks, you may destroy target tapped creature. It can't be regenerated. "A light within the darkness that may surround it—but could never cast it out."
2/2
I was wondering what was going on when you made a card that referenced the entangler ability.
The card seems fine. “Can’t be regenerated” seems a tad anachronistic as wizards doesn’t really print cards with regenerate any more but I guess that works if you are going for an old school vibe.

I did update the post, but maybe you missed that.
I also updated Change the Formality and it looks like no one noticed that either, or just purposely didn't address it.
This is just supposed to be a palette swap on Phyrexian Crusader. Will work great in decks that can initiate attacks.
Seems kind of fine, though there's some shearing with "this card wants to sit back and either block or deter attacking" and "this card wants to attack." Adding Vigilance to the pile might be too much though, so I dunno. First Strike is kind of a tradition on these kinds of Knight designs as well, so it looks like it's missing, but that's fine.

I actually like the tension of want's to attack/wants to block.
My only problem with the card is that Pro Black and Red means this is too good for current standard (since Mirran/Phyrexian Crusaders were more than 10 years ago) and this would just shut out those colors from the metagame. Hexproof from Black and Red would make it resistant without actually being non-interactive to those too colors.
(Or if you're designing for a legacy/commander only environment its more fine)
This is much better than any of the Crusaders because it can block arbitrarily many creatures. Against red and black decks this guy can just turtle up and never let any attackers through and never be able to be spot removed. That's a huge problem for limited in particular.
I usually like your not so much convoluted cards. This one doesn't do it for me though. I'd rather see hexproof from Black and from Red and just have a larger toughness. 2/4 maybe. The knights are good at shutting down 1 card. This one as designed shuts down way too much. Acts as a fog always. Shuts down all red and black guys... Forever basically. Destroys a big green creature.... Just doesn't feel good IMO
Decided to take this one up another mana too, as it is doing something that's a step above the traditional keyword soup effects.
On another note, I've been going through my other designs in the past and updating them. Not a lot of tweeking. I took a few up by one mana as well, added some flavor texts, but still obviously would have lots more flavor text to fill in.
