Rakdos: This is a riff on Amass that I think is a complete flavor home-run. Functionally, it leans into the aggressive, self-destructive nature of Rakdos.
Entertain N (Audiences you control get +N/+N until end of turn. If you don’t control one, create a 0/0 Audience creature token with haste first.)
Rakdos Conductor 1R
Creature - Human Wizard (R)
1/3
Whenever you cast an instant or sorcery spell, entertain 1.
Whenever an Audience enters the battlefield under your control, add R and exile the top card of your library. You may cast that card until the end of your next turn.
Rakdos, Master of Mayhem BR
Legendary Creature - Demon (M)
6/6
This spell costs 1 more to cast for each card in your hand.
Flying, trample
When ~ enters the battlefield, entertain 6.
Azorius: I liked the idea of the Azorius creating laws that enforce themselves. Ravnica’s law magic is more tangible than on any other plane, so it seemed fitting to have it represented by enchantments that come alive. Functionally, this helps bridge the gap between white’s focus on creatures and blue’s focus on non-creatures. It’s also a slower, more durdly mechanic that leans into the controlling playstyle of the Azorius. As an added bonus, +1/+1 counters synergize with Simic, if they happen to be in the same set.
[cost]: Enforce N (If this enchantment isn’t a creature, put N +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes a 0/0 enchantment creature.)
ex.
Above the Law 2WU
Enchantment (U)
Creatures you control have flying. 4: Enforce 4.
Imminent Ban WU
Enchantment (R)
As ~ enters the battlefield, choose a nonland card name.
Whenever a player casts a spell with the chosen name, if ~ is a creature, counter that spell. Otherwise, put three +1/+1 counters on ~ and it becomes a 0/0 enchantment creature. 1: Enforce 1
Regular Reports 2UU
Enchantment (R)
At the beginning of your end step, draw a card. 3: Enforce X, where X is the number of cards in your hand.
The audience dying every turn, while thematic, hurts the design significantly. As small numbers your audience will usually accomplish nothing then die. While this could be made up for with death triggers on support cards it just feels bad.
Animating enchantments feels very Azorious. Though other than immenent Ban I don't feel these cards capture what Azorious is trying to do. I don't think it could fit in a typical Ravinia set but in an Azorious commander deck it could by amazing.
I agree with user about the audience, with the caveat that it would be interesting if you made and Audience EACH time you entertain. It would be tougher to balance, but it gives you a different play pattern where chaining several in a turn becomes a sort of go-wide-aggro-glass-cannon-strategy
Enforce feel odd, both play wise and flavor wise. Like, I get the concept of a law that makes people follow it, but for some reason "Enforce" doesn't feel like the right word. I think these will play better with lower costs that cativate as sorceries and tap them to turn into the creature. I say this because the cast+activation is very high (8 for a 4/4 flyer) because they effectively get haste when you activate them to be creatures or you can activate eot to keep up a counter.
Entertain N (Audiences you control get +N/+0 until end of turn. Create a red 0/1 Audience creature token with haste and "At the beggining of your end step sacrifice this creature unless you've entertained this turn".)
That way you can keep your audience out as long as you keep entertaining it.
I think when the Audience dies, you should gain life equal to its power. You're not putting a show on for free, right? Get paid.
I'd disagree with that. It turned the rakdos strategy far too much from Aggro to grindy mid-range. Treasure would be more appropriate if you were looking for payoff.

I like the idea but I feel like this effect is complex enough as is for a mechanic without adding a die trigger. Accordingly, I think it'd be great as a separate card that can entertain, then produce Treasure tokens whenever Audiences die.

If you brought this to me, I would ask you to consider coming up with a new theme concept for the Rakdos cult.
I honestly feel like the whole "Spectacle" thing was really off-concept. That's like a holy roller thing—not really a true cult thing.

In addition to what rowanalpha said, I'd note that life gain is not in mono red.
