This is my first submission, based on "signature spells". The idea was to be spells that your commander, not you, would cast. All of them require your commander to be on the battlefield, and they can be retrieved from the graveyard every time your commander rises again. I am not sure about the right wording for those abilities (I would like them to give commander damage, for example), nor about correct casting costs. Would love to hear your thoughts.
For one thing, the partner mechanic would make it easier to return all of your signature spells to your hand repeatedly as commander tax effectively climbs only half as quickly. For another thing, commanders or strategies that use discarding as a resource (like Latulla, Megatta, etc.) would get a lot more mileage out of these cards than most other commanders... though that may be more of an obstacle for future legend designs than it would be for those that already exist as I can't think of too many "good" self-discard commanders.
I'm just going to give a templating feedback. The tapping needs to be an additional cost, not and activated ability. Also, Subtypes need to be a single word, so signature spell would have to be hyphenated, though you should probably choose something shorter.
