Legacy HeroWW Creature — Human Knight
When Legacy Hero dies or is exiled by a source an opponent controls, you may search your library for an enchantment card with a converted mana cost 5 or less and put it onto the battlefield, then shuffle your library. We must protect our legacy greater than our life. When our honor dies, so dies all hope to return to life without war. We will go from one battlefield to the spiritual front of another, where we may be wiped out without remedy by all that is true and pure.
2/2
This is very strong, definitely a Legacy power leveled card. If that's your target, great. If you're aiming for something more akin to a rare in a Standard level set, it would need to lower the enchantment to 4 CMC or less, or increase the creature's cost to 1WW. Also, the "or exiled" part of the trigger has potential to be abused with flicker effects, especially repeatable ones.
Balance concerns aside, its a good card.
Questions for further refinement:
-You only have creature type Knight. You almost never see "jobs" as lone creature types on non-tokens, so what race do you think fits this?
-Do you want to refine the type of enchantment to either exclude or hone in on Auras or Enchantment Creatures? Being a knight, Auras seems a little more on theme, but adding specifications or restrictions can both balance the creature some and make it a little more focused.

If it's an Aura, you can attach it to target creature (although it doesn't say that) lol feelsbadman.
You are correct, except that it doesn't target so you can actually put the Aura on a creature with shroud or something like that.
It was more just a question of do you want a wide or narrow effect to theme the card around.
I think despite the potential with being blinked, the exile condition needs to remain, because without that the card is instantly reduced to dead fish.
The most prominent removal all use exile, and increasingly so through the modern era.
Allowing it to get the enchantments whenever it flickers is too strong and there is an easy fix. Make it turn itself face down to get the effect.
When Legacy Hero dies or is exiled, you may exile it face down. If you do search your library for an Enchantment card with a converted mana cost 5 or less and put it onto the battlefield.
This stops the completely broken ability to find enchantments with Cloudshift and Skybind. Without taking away any of the intended function.

I would probably just add "or is exiled by a source an opponent controls" before that.

That's a really good solution and would stop the potential abuse completely, and still allows for some interaction like searching up an Animate Dead to get the knight back into play.
Still seems really busted with any sac outlet, unless it can also only die to opponents' sources to trigger the ability? Academy Rector fetches enchantments that meet the requirements a lot of the time, and that card exiles itself. I think this card would still be incredible if it was only a dies trigger, and you could only grab 1cmc enchantments. I feel like the first time you posted this guy he put equipment on the field, but maybe I read it wrong that day, or maybe it's been changed because Batterskull OP.
If it were an enchantment with CMC 3 or less, I think this would be a little more balanced. It would be easier to just let this thing swing at you all day than to kill it and suddenly you've got Chromanticore on the field. Or Dictate of Heliod - chump block your opponent's creature, suddenly all your smol things get BEEG for free.
Anyone got any actual broken combos with this—even at 5 cmc enchantment?
Homura, Human Ascendant didn't prove itself to work in practice as it was thought to have in theory. I don't think that example counts as anything.
Considering removal becomes more diversified in the overhaul meta this would be apart of; there's no chance for it to be broken at all. It would require more dynamic deck structure, in which this simply becomes a crucial measure of resistance, in the mass resistor you're looking to create.
Now that the company has blown up the whole Enchantment Creature thing, I think this would want to add a 'non-creature' boundary to it.
Homura, Human Ascendant was a 6 mana card yours is a 2 mana card there is a difference :D. Without the addage of an opponent controls there are quite a few things this can get out on T3 like Overwhelming Splendor via Curse of Misfortunes is one of the top of my head. Since that was added it feels a whole lot safer.

But you can still sacrifice it just fine, the exile thing is the only part that has to be controlled by an opponent? I think? It's worded super oddly.
I was thinking since Aluren decks already run rector obviously they'd play this. It's basically a huge upgrade to an already broken card in that case
You can also loop Animate Deads/Necromancys and keep bringing it back until you... I dunno
Let's not blame this design, let's blame Curse of Misfortunes for being so greedy and overzealous. In fact, I think both of them are bland and in poor taste. Totally uncreative designs.
People and their stand-alone balanced content shouldn't be held in contempt for the overzealous content of others.
Academy rector is on the high end of the power level scale, hence their not being a card that replicated that functionality at that cost in the 21 years since it was printed.

Freddy Krueger Swag
I thought about making a black version.
