Baron Sengir, Sanguine Lord4BBB
Legendary Creature - Elder Vampire
Flying, Lifelink
You may cast ~ and other vampire creature cards from your graveyard by paying life equal to their converted mana costs in addition to paying their mana costs.
5/5
I wanted a really bomby vampire card that gave the tribe a bit more recursion in a flavorful way. Using "life" as a resource seems perfect in a vampire deck, and lends a hand to making sure your vampire army lives forever at the cost of your own blood. Probably requires some reworking of the wording to make it make sense, but essentially I want to be able to cast Baron Sengir from my graveyard if he dies, and while he is on the battlefield, I want to habe him be able to resurrect other vampires from the graveyard.
It needs to be two different abilities if you want it to only cast himself form graveyard and cast other vamps while on the battlefield.
You may cast ~ from your graveyard. If you do you lose 7 life.

When ~ enters the battlefield, you may return a Vampire creature with a converted mana cost 5 or less from your graveyard to the battlefield.
~ has all abilities of other Vampire creatures you control.

You may discard three Black cards and pay 6 life instead of paying ~ mana cost. If you do, you may cast it as though it has flash.
Flying, first strike, lifelink BBB: Regenerate ~.
That last one would be cool if it were a demon. Make it a 4/3 with flying and trample. The Regen is also cool, but they kinda moving away from regen. Give it indestructible instead.
Lifelink doesn't fit well because of the life loss needed to cast the card. Also the flash kinda puts it over the top.
Imagine your version. Turn 1 they play goblin guide and swing. You discard 3 cards and only lose 1 life after you block. Then you net 4 life when you swing on your turn.

Just make the first ability grant flash instead of making it a free-to-play. I do see your point with the lifelink, but to be honest, I just made a quick keyword soup here and didn't put any thought at all into the combinations. You could of-course replace lifelink with shroud, and the enigmatic essence of the Vampire legend is fully preserved and recaptured in a new captivating light. Of course, at this point you can just keep the first ability as it was.

Flying, first strike, shroud BBB: Regenerate Baron Sengir the Pitch Black. "We all have origins—some much darker than others; imbued in blood, sweat, and tears; the desperate clawing from the grave to the top of world."

The other I think would be better as a cheap symbiot creature, the works with Vampire Nighthawk and another 2/2 for Knight-esque Vampire if we could get one.
Vampiric SymbioteBB Creature — Vampire Symbiote
Vampiric Symbiote has all abilities of other Vampire creatures you control.

I love this. Relatively simple, impactful, and flavorful. I think the wording is fine as-is. No need to muddy this by adding other abilities or weird alternate costs.
A great vampire lord and monoblack vampire commander that does something very powerful but also very different than the other obvious vampire choices like Edgar Markov. Great design!
