I'm doing a series where I design some cards towards slots that could use a bit of help in cube. Today's installment is the blue 1 and 2 converted cost creatures slot. Cards are meant to be pushed and don't necessarily need to be able to exist in a standard legal set but should be printable. Constructive feedback always welcome.
Seafloor LooterU
Creature - Merfolk (R)
Multikicker 1U (You may pay an additional 1U any number of times as you cast this spell.)
When Seafloor Looter enters the battlefield draw a card plus an additional card for each time Seafloor Looter was kicked, then discard a card.
Seafloor Looter enters the battlefield +1/+1 counter for each time it was kicked.

Notes: I really wanted to give blue a creature that can loot turn 1 and have value into the late game by growing both its size and effect. I'm not sure that this is printable as is (though I wish it was). If needed, a few potential fixes could be to start this as a 1U creature. Alternatively, this could start as a 0/1 or even a 1/0 which could have its own benefits since it would loot and put a creature in the graveyard on turn 1.

Creature - Faerie Wizard (R)
Flying
At the beginning of combat target creature gets -2/-0 until end of turn. 2U, Sacrifice Tension Breaker: Creatures opponents control get -2/-0 until end of turn.

Notes: When is the last time a -X/-0 effect got you excited? I wanted to give Blue its own Birds of Paradise if you will--the 1 drop 0/1 flyer blue decks want to play to enable their gameplan and stifle aggressive strategies. This might already be strong enough just giving out -1/-0 to a creature each combat. What do you think?
Wall of Dreams1U
Creature - Wall (U)
Defender
Vanishing 3 (This permanent enters the battlefield with three time counters on it. At the beginning of your upkeep, remove a time counter from it. When the last is removed, sacrifice it.)
When Wall of Dreams is put into a graveyard from the battlefield. If it had no counters on it draw two cards.

Notes: Cubers talk about how amazing it would be if Wall of Blossoms existed in Blue. I took that concept and played with it some. Blue decks love a good wall early, but they want cards later. If this guy survives three turns you get to cash it in as a Divination.
Spin Crafter1U
Creature - Vedalken Artificer (U)
Flying
When Spin Crafter enters the battlefield create a 1/1 colorless Thopter artifact creature token with flying.
When Spin Crafter attacks it gets +1/+0 for each other flying artifact creature you control.
0/1
Notes: Blue Tempo card. Gives you Wind Drake stats when attacking and has synergies with existing Thopter producers (and Smuggler's Copter) in cube and decks that like to go wide.
