Quote from cyberium_neo »Thank you all for suggestions! The general rule for bestow is that the enchanted creature gets the same power/ability as the aura itself, would it be "unorthodox" to allow Kluxion to be a 4/4, while granting -4/-4?
This general rule is also why the second ability exists: As an aura Kluxion forces the creature to lose all ability, the only way to give Kluxion some form of combat ability is with the "become X" phrase.
Quote from IcariiFA »You already break the general rule by making the keyword abilities of the Eidolon different then what it is enchanting. I feel if you're already ok breaking it, there are more intuitive ways to do it closer to my suggestion.

It’s a general rule, not an enforced one. Also this is a legendary, you can fidget with the formula on it because it’s suppose to be unique. Gameplay has to trump flavor every time. Every time. If you need an extra clunky sentence to make him survive when he falls off of a dead creature as an aura, then your being unnecessarily over-complex. It’s more intuitive that he has normal power and toughness so that when he falls off he stays on the battlefield. Having Kluxion have negative power/toughness which indicates he automatically dies when a creature but an ability that changes it so he doesn’t is A) Confusing since it’s conflicting information & B) Can be forgotten easily unless trying to constantly remember it.
Look at vehicles. They have a power/toughness box so that they don’t need an extra line of text to set what their power/toughness would be when they become a creature. It’s intuitive because players already know what the power/toughness box is for.
