Shaggorath, Gate to Eternity
Legendary Creature- Eldrazi
Colorless spells cost less to cast. This effect reduces only the amount of colored mana you pay.
Whenever you cast an Eldrazi creature spell, target opponent sacrifices a permanent.
Just a loose idea that I wanted to throw out for a while now, creating a tribal eldrazi legend (based on Shub Niggurath of Lovecraftian fame) that allows for all of your devoid creatures/spells. Wasn't sure if producing a non-titan eldrazi legend would feel a bit too odd but I wanted to finally push this out and see how people feel.
Hmmm, this generally only makes an Eldrazi cost 1 or 2 less right? I was hoping it said, "Colorless spells cost WUBRG." I think this is going to be broken in cheerios style decks. Turn 3 Tron into this, 4 memnites. Next turn island, paradoxical outcome, drop everything again plus ornithopters to wipe out their whole board. Maybe if it said whenever you cast a colorless creature with CMC 7 or more?
The colorless mana symbol unfortunately doesn't work that way, because generic man is also colorless mana. If you want to reduce colorless mana in the casting cost and only colorless mana this card becomes a wording nightmare. I would suggest removing it, also because producing cololess mana in an Eldrazi EDH deck does not seem that complicated.

I also think that the colorless reduction should go to stay true to the idea of simply stripping the colored mana requirement away from devoid creatures. Of course, simply allowing players to spend colorless mana as if it were mana of any color would also achieve that, but this is supposed to be a 5-color devoid commander, after all.
This version's neat. Obviously quite strong at 6 but the cost reduction is for a pretty small set of spells as it is (if this were a Commander face card I'd make sure to print some nice new devoid cards) and you kind of get diminishing returns for cost reduction at higher CMCs unless you're talking full-on Omniscience effects.
Personally, I think that I'm going to take away the activated ability reduction as not many colorless creatures have abilities that cost colored mana (I can only think of spellskite)
There's actually a fairly huge quantity of artifact creatures with colored activated abilities, but a) not that many are Constructed, much less Commander, playable, and b) reducing activated ability costs by colored mana gives you things like infinite power.
