Two tropes Maro has said in the past that they don't want to adapt in Magic are succubi and damsels in distress. So, of course I decided to design a card that combines both concepts into a demonic, vampiric damsel that you don't want to hang on to.

Creature - Demon Vampire Damsel
Defender
Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage to a player, that player gains control of ~.
At the beginning of your upkeep, put a distress counter on ~.
At the beginning of your end step, you lose life equal to the number of distress counters on ~. "Please help me! I've been so lonely, chained up in this tower all by myself... I'll even ki$$ you as a reward!"
0/6
Art concept: What appears to be a helpless human woman is chained up. She's licking her lips in a seductive yet sinister manner. Her shadow has horns and wings, hinting at her true nature.
This is what could be considered a "hot potato" card. At first she caused whoever controlled her to lose the game at the end of their turn, then I tried having her accumulating counters at the beginning of her controller's end step, causing whoever controls her to lose the game when the thirteenth counter is placed. But since I picture Succubi being both Vampires and Demons, I decided to have her accumulate counters, then drain life equal to the number of counters on her from her controller at the end of their turn.
MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I foresee significant problems in multiplayer. Most people can't properly resolve a player leaving the game with anything more complicated than everything they own leaving. Other than that its really cool.
