These are the result of a friend and me chatting way too long in a parking lot after EDH, not actually splitting up and heading home until around 12:30. As a result, some ideas incorporated into these cards are not my ideas.

Ephemeral Legion (no mana cost)
(W) {R}
Typeless
As you draw Ephemeral Legion or it would be put into your library from your hand, you may reveal it.
When Ephemeral Legion changes zones, you may pay W. If you do, create a 1/1 white Soldier creature token with lifelink.
Ephemeral Cogitation (no mana cost)
(U) {R}
Typeless
As you draw Ephemeral Cogitation or it would be put into your library from your hand, you may reveal it.
When Ephemeral Cogitation changes zones, you may pay U. If you do, draw a card.
Ephemeral Miasma (no mana cost)
(B) {R}
Typeless
As you draw Ephemeral Miasma or it would be put into your library from your hand, you may reveal it.
When Ephemeral Miasma changes zones, you may pay B. If you do, target opponent discards a card.
Ephemeral Shock (no mana cost)
(R) {R}
Typeless
As you draw Ephemeral Shock or it would be put into your library from your hand, you may reveal it.
When Ephemeral Shock changes zones, you may pay R. If you do, Ephemeral Shock deals 2 damage to any target.
Ephemeral Growth (no mana cost)
(G) {R}
Typeless
As you draw Ephemeral Growth or it would be put into your library from your hand, you may reveal it.
When Ephemeral Growth changes zones, you may pay G. If you do, search your library for a basic land card, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library.
Ephemeral Void (no mana cost)
{R}
Typeless
As you draw Ephemeral Void or it would be put into your library from your hand, you may reveal it.
When Ephemeral Void changes zones, you may pay C. If you do, scry 2.
Examples of play:
You control Civilized Scholar and two untapped red sources. You activate Scholar, drawing (and choosing to reveal) Ephemeral Shock, then discard Ephemeral Shock. Because it changed zones twice (library to hand, then hand to graveyard), Ephemeral Shock triggers twice, and you can use your two red mana to deal 2 damage to any two targets or 4 damage to any one target. Because Ephemeral Shock is not a creature, Scholar does not untap and transform.
You take the first turn of the game, playing an Island and passing. Your opponent plays a spell, and you respond with Force of Will, exiling Ephemeral Cogitation and paying 1 life to pay the cost. Ephemeral Cogitation triggers once (hand to exile), and you can use your untapped Island to draw a card.
You target your opponent with Villainous Wealth, hitting among other things a copy of Ephemeral Growth, which you choose to cast as part of resolving Villainous Wealth. Ephemeral Growth triggers three times, once under your opponent's control (library to exile) and twice under your control (exile to stack, and stack to battlefield). Your opponent may pay G and you may pay up to GG as the triggers resolve.
Corner Cases:
As worded above, one of these cards moving from a hidden zone to face-down in another zone wouldn't be able to trigger (eg, manifest the top card of your library, Pyxis of Pandemonium, hideaway land), even if you are permitted to look at the face-down card.
Could the typeline just say "Permanent"? (Yes, this would cause comprehension problems for the inexperienced, so a blank typeline and "This is a permanent card and a permanent on the battlefield" reminder text is ideal.)
This uses "behind the scenes" terminology which is something to be cautious of but I delight in how innovative these are. They feel like something out of Xerex or Iquatana.
Thinking about it, I think the effects of the red and black ones should be reflexive triggers introduced in Amonkhet block (change "If you do..." to "When you do..."), so that the target isn't chosen until you pay the mana. Changing those two to reflexive triggers then means the rest of them should probably be made reflexive so the templates match.
This mechanic feels like it would need a lot of support, from a set-design perspective. Without discard or Brainstorm effects, these cards will rot in your hand once drawn, and they're bricks if you are incapable or unwilling to pay for their triggers at the moment in which they change zones.
Otherwise, they're pretty cool once you get around the rules foibles and the copious misunderstandings they'll produce. Actually managing to cast the things gets you two triggers, which is neat. Jhoira of the Ghitu gets three, not including the move to your hand.
Also, are they designed to trigger upon a move from a public zone to a hidden zone? My guess would be no.
