At the beginning of your upkeep you may reveal a mono-colored card from your hand. If a blue card is revealed this way Scry 2, if a red card is revealed this way Mishra's Facility deals 2 damage divided any way you choose damage among target creatures or players, if a white card is revealed this way target creature gains protection from a color of your choice until end of turn, if a green card is revealed this way target creature gets +3/+3 until end of turn, if a black card is revealed this way target opponent discards a card at random.
Interesting idea. The flavor seems way off - Mishra didn't care about things like colored magic, being an Artificer, and then later compleated.
The power levels of the effects also seem a bit... unbalanced. The black and especially red modes are leagues ahead of the rest.
Thanks, Void! I'm a bit surprised by your (likely educated) opinion of the balance. I've been removed from the game for a bit, but in my mind, I felt that white's ability was pretty powerful (being as how you can target ANY creature, thereby potentially removing enchantments and other buffs from opponent's creatures), but that blue was also rather powerful since you're Scrying 2 before you draw...
Rule of thumb - repeatable card advantage is strong; repeatable card advantage that directly affects the board state is stronger. The red mode potentially kills two opposing creatures a turn. While fixing your draws is a good effect, it also has no effect on how many cards you actually have to work with, or the board state.
The protection granting is usually going to translate into just evasion most of the time, as your opponent can just respond to it with instant-speed removal anyhow and it only fires on your turn so there's no utility for blocking. Using it to remove opponents' Auras (and, uh, colored Equipment?) is an extremely niche corner case. Your use of the phrase "other buffs" makes me think you might not fully know the protection rules? Because it has no effect on static bonuses.

Thanks again :). I am considering reworking White for the reasons you've mentioned. I do understand protection rules unless they've changed over the years, which they might have. I understand the idea of static bonuses, I figure that with whatever changes there may have been...I should just "blanket statement".
With that said, a white suggestion would be nice. I also toyed with giving green +1/+1 and Trample...but that felt like it could be a bit over the top in the grand scheme.
Another problem with this card is probably each turn you reveal exactly the same card, which is definitely not exciting. Maybe you should instead reveal the top card of library, and reward playing multiple colors?
One more thing to keep in mind is that the way the card is currently worded, you always need to target an opponent and at least one creature. So, if all creatures have Shroud, if there are no creatures, or if all opponents have Shroud or Hexproof, the ability will be removed from the stack and you can't do anything. This is important since you will be unable to deal damage to an opponent's creatures or give yours protection (for example) if your opponent happens to have hexproof or shroud and you can't have your opponent discard a card if there are no creatures.
It is likely not to come up all that often but it is a weird rules interaction that can cause confusion. The easiest way is to probably make this card modal:
Mishra's Facility 4
Artifact - Rare
At the beginning of your upkeep, choose one and then you may reveal a mono-colored card from your hand:
Scry 2 if a blue card is revealed this way
Deal 2 damage divided any way you choose to up to any 2 targets if a red card is revealed this way
Target creature gets protection from a color of your choice until end of turn if a white card is revealed this way
Target creature gets +3/+3 if a green card is revealed this way
Target opponent discards a card at random if a black card is revealed this way
The wording above allows you to choose the "white" mode even if you end up revealing a blue card since revealing is not done until resolution while modes and targets are done before that so it still has the possibility of being interrupted. Note also that I changed the red mode to any two targets, so if you don't want it to target planeswalkers, you will need to go back to a "creature or player" wording but that makes the wording longer.
Also, I agree that the red mode is probably overpowered and random, repeatable discard for black is too much. Also I agree that you will probably just keep revealing the same card over and over again. The latter can't be fixed much by making it modal, but it is something to think about.

Perhaps discard the revealed card, but make the effects more powerful? You could also cut the White and Green effects to fit with Mishra, Artificer Prodigy.

According to current rules, a card with protection from X can't be Damaged, Enchanted, Blocked or Targeted by anything X. The ability has also been moved from Evergreen to Deciduous to Supported over the last few years.
