If it did more it would have to cost more making it worse as a hate card. I also can't imagine what else it 'should' do. It isn't supposed to be a paradise or anything it is just an undisturbed death, doing anything else seems like it would clash with being undisturbed.
That's a hell of a lot of bookkeeping involved. I can easily see tournament setting where when you cast this, one or both players spend the next 15 minutes writing down the contents of the exile zone, then keeping track of things that entire exile.

Why would you bother will all that bookkeeping? The option is obviously there but what is a realistic gain of doing this bookkeeping? When you cast Surgical Extraction do you feverishly write down the entire contents of the opponents deck? Either way in a tournament setting neither player is allowed 15 minutes to record the contents of exile so it's not a problem even if people would do this.

I agree with all of this.
As for the design it's interesting albeit narrow design space. I like it but imagine I would feel much more excited about this card if Rest in Peace wasn't a card.
I just don't understand the goal here over say Rest in Peace. I'd pick Rest in Peace given the choice between the two for easier castability and since it's not legendary it can be proactively redundant in case of removal. Is there a card that interacts with face up cards in exile that I am missing?

Competitive Players record any time an opponent reveals information about their deck, whether that's on a T1 Thoughtseize or from a Cascade trigger revealing a handful of cards from the opponent's top deck.

mondu was exaggerating with the 15 minutes bit, but yes this card would inevitably cause gametime issues. And not just because it enforces bookkeeping, but also because it promotes constant bookkeeping for both players. For instance, normally when a battlefield full of creatures is wrathed away, any players could look at their graveyards for pertinent info. How many Champion of the Parish do I still have in my deck? Did I kill all four of my opponent's Tarmogoyf? With the card you're proposing, all that info would have to be monitored constantly just to stay on top of these things. Ultimately though, bookkeeping isn't a bad thing. Even constant bookkeeping is forgivable at times. However, there has to be a good payoff for using that, and I'm not seeing it with this card.
Potentially useless. Not saying to implement it where it's of no use though.
Kind of think the flavor concept here is skewed. The Blessed Sleep sounds like a card that should do something more unique than this. Maybe something about creatures dying at any time, going to exile, and gaining life?

Legendary Enchantment
When ~ enters the battlefield, exile all cards from all graveyards. Then exile all cards in exile face down.
If a card or token would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead.
Whenever a card enters exile Face up, exile it face down.
Edit: Fixed an infinite loop.

UBRKess, Dissident MageUBR - Controlling Dissidents
GRhonas the IndomitableG - Indomitable Four Drops
WUBOloro, Ageless AsceticWUB - Loot & Renanimate
Yes? Personally, I don't, but I have seen in happen in high stakes tournaments.
And this is significantly worse than sugioal extraction, since extraction is a one shot.
