Float Like a ButterflyU
Enchantment - Method (C)
Project U(U, Tap an untapped creature you control: This enchantment becomes a copy of that creature until end of turn. It's still an enchantment.)
Float Like a Butterfly's projection has flying. (The creature this enchantment becomes.)
So what we have here is enchantments where you can pay a cost and tap a creature you control to turn it into a copy of that creature, usually with added benefits. Abilities that state what extra qualities the projection has are special both in that they are not overwritten when the Method becomes a creature, and in that they are copyable themselves. That means using an animated Method to project another Method will cause its extra qualities to carry up the chain.
I like this. There are seemingly development issues here with untap combos but they'd probably more along the lines of silly and fun combos than degenerate ones. I think this mechanic is more like totem armor than anything, and the Umbras were very fun in their Limited and in various Commander decks. The other issue is the complexity of copy effects at common, but meh.
The concept of special text that isn't over written by copy effects and is itself a copiably value, without anything that actually signifies this, is overwhelmingly concerning. Without a specific and clear method of distinguishing this text I can't fathom the ability working as you want. Though with such a method, that method may actually be the more interesting concept.
A quick question on what is happening with your card. Does it keep the projection ability and the ability granting it abilities? If it becomes a creature in some other manner, Starfield of Nyx, does your card have flying? If it becomes a copy of a creature somehow without using its projection ability, does it have flying?
The actual Project active ability is lost when the card becomes a copy. Under the hood, the way I image the projection bonuses working is that they become the abilities they grant when the card they are on is animated by Project. So "~'s projection gets +2/+2 and has trample" becomes "this creature gets gets +2/+2 and has trample" when it's through the "filter" of Project. That means it doesn't work if it gets animated by some other means. The special wording helps convey that these abilities are special.
I said before that the wording(and even the specifics of how it works) is not final. I'm open to better ways of doing it.
Edit: I could just have Project be (...This enchantment becomes a copy of that creature until end of turn. It's still an enchantment and still has this enchantment's non-project abilities.) and give the enchantment abilities normally. Not too happy with the word "enchantment" three times in the reminder text.
The subtype is strange and not necessary; you could just say something like "search your library for a card with project". You could also key certain effects to the status of being a projection (e.g. "projected creatures you control get +1/+1" works just like "untapped creatures you control get +1/+1" would) if you're worried about affecting them while on the battlefield - the subtype wouldn't survive past the copy effect anyways.
The second ability definitely doesn't work as-worded. You probably want "When Float Like a Butterfly becomes a projection, it gains flying until end of turn."; that would work in the same way that "when this creature dies" triggers work even though the creature in question is no longer on the battlefield.
This also doesn't stack if you use project multiple times in response to itself, which is what I assume the goal is, since after the first time it becomes a projection it will no longer have that ability.
Finally, you should probably cost the effect a little higher. Even though you need to tap the original, you can still double the constant and triggered abilities of creatures this way in addition to effectively giving them haste.

U : Target creature gains flying until end of turn.
At the beginning of each combat phase, you may have target creature gain flying until end of turn.
Seems like more chasing of the tail to me.
