If Berserk without trample were to be a keyword, what would be its color identity? It seems BR to me because it boosts only power and it focuses on sacrifice, but I'm not entirely sure because the card itself (albeit with trample) is green.
Example:
Orcish Shock Troops1R
Creature - Orc Berserker (U)
Haste, berserk (Whenever Orcish Shock Troops attacks, you may have it get +X/+0 until end of turn, where X is its power. If you do, sacrifice it at end of combat.)
Orcish Shock Troops attacks each turn if able.
2/1
As a design note I'd like to point out that before dash there have been many custom card designers that have come up with dash, but sacrificing the creature rather than returning it to hand. But I think dash clearly makes the right call. Similarly I have seen berserk a lot, but wonder whether returning the card to hand rather than sacrificing it might be a better call - maybe paired with a nonvariable boost in power.

Planar Chaos was not a mistake neither was it random. You might want to look at it again.

Finally a good white villain quote: "So, do I ever re-evaluate my life choices? Never, because I know what I'm doing is a righteous cause."

Kinda like Ornithopter.
And I'd add that Exert lends to this logic.
Now that you mentione it, exert into double strike seems like a pretty likely design that encapsulates this idea quite well.
