I was wondering what a black oath could be, as Ob Nixilis is missing in the Oath cycle.
He kind made a oath to destroy zendikar, so make a card out of it!
Oath of Nixilis B
Legendary Enchantment
When ~ enters the battlefield, each opponent loses 3 life.
Whenever a card is put into an opponents graveyard, you lose 1 life and put a loyality counter on each planeswalker you own.
Its very cheap, but it potentially can kill you if you are not carefull. But the effect is also powerfull enough to really kick-start some cheaper planeswalkers to boost them quickly. Works especially well with cheap planeswalkers and discard/mill effects, but then again, you do not want to get too many triggers, as it will also quickly kill you.
Funny might be with Sorin and other lifegain effects, like the ultimate of Ajani (gain 100 life).
Putting loyalty counters on planeswalkers is a very un-black ability(both mechanically and flavorfully) and falls into the domain of white. Doing "anything anyone else can do at a cost" is not a good design philosophy for any subset of a game which is why wizards stopped letting black go in that direction.

No, Oath of Ob isn't missing from the cycle because Ob is a villain and Gatewatch are the heroes. Is it so hard to figure out?
While I agree, what baffles me the most is how Black didn't get a permanent to interact with planeswalkers, oath or not. It may not fit the pie, but it could have worked to how the honden cycle worked in Kamigawa. Maybe a Painful Quandry type oath. Whenever an opponent casts a spell, he loses X+1 life for each planeswalkers you control type of deal. Or, at EOT, your opponent discards a card for each planeswalker you control. It just feels incomplete. However, the OP example is extremely overpowered,
If they don't want Sorin's Oath to be WB, I could see it being monoblack just like Sorin's original card. The ETB effect would probably be a "draw N cards and you lose N life" type of effect. The second effect could be a lifegain trigger that lets you put a loyalty counter on any number of planeswalkers you control.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Could still be. We are revisiting Sorin's home turf in SOI, after all.

A monoblack oath from Sorin should have been possible though.
